Careful what you wish for. I rather like the uncapped turn speed, and I'd rather have a little control panel for input settings than to depend on the devs to modify my input settings for me at their discretion/leisure. |

How about no aim assist for an FPS? If you want an appeal to tradition to be the only thing backing your argument, mine trumps yours.
Aim assist in an FPS would have gotten you banned from playing 15 years ago. 20 years ago you would have started a fist fight at a LAN party.

I'm going to assume you weren't around for chromosome, (if you were my appologies) but what CCP is doing right now is "modifying our input" kb/m was flawless in chromosome the only people who complained were scrubs getting beat by DS3 and blaming kb/m....
I was playing in chromosome, and I fuzzily remember that mouse input was *alright*, but it was greatly overshadowed by the dropsuit turn speed cap and low framerate. I do remember being able to pull off much trickier shots. So maybe you're right, but if they enable raw(er?) input, keep the cap off, and give us a control panel which is by default set to "Chromosome", I think everyone will be happy. |
