simple i saw that my other post about star wars and star trek was popular and i liked everyone's reasons so here is another so i'll start:
Marvel good guys and DC villains but my favourite from each is Venom and The Scarecrow, respectively. p.s. superman is OP and a pointless superhero |

Superman is as weak as a kitteh if you get him near Kryptonite so he has a hard counter. Can't say that someone is OP when a green glowy rock can kill them just by being within the general vicinity. If you are talking about the new movie then I agree the new Superman isn't up to the task filling Christopher Reeves boots. I also have serious reservations about the next Superman movie with Butthole Chin... oh I'm sorry Ben Affleck as Batman.
EDIT: Avengers was awesome though. I would say Marc Ruffalo makes the best Hulk I have seen to date. He kinda stole the show |

As of right now my favorite Marvel comic is Young Avengers by Kieron Gillian and Jamie McKelvie. Beautiful art, present cultural things(tumblr, instagram, GoT reference) and the story is great.
I never read a DC comic but I've watched a lot of Batman shows as a kid.(I despise Superman)
But Marvel has always got my focus more than DC. The characters were more relate able. |

Lex Luthor tricked him in the first Christopher Reeves movie into opening a lead box filled with Kryptonite. Told Superman the device to stop two nuclear warheads was in it. Gene Hackman was the best Luthor evah! |
