What ever happened to the day when if you wanted to take down a well armed dropship you would grab your swarms and a buddy or two and hunt them down? Now all I see is a bunch of cowards using their militia trash just to ram you out of the sky because you can no longer see them on the radar. I'm a good sport about vehicles, if I've been out-gunned or out-smarted then I'll give you that 900,000 iso kill, in fact I gain respect for you for managing to muscle me out of the skies that I typically dominate. However, I honestly find it very hard to respect a man who cowardly wishes to burn 60,000 isk just for the satisfaction of low-blowing my wallet. Just these last 2 days I've lost 15 Incubuses to kamikaze pilots, it's like someone signaled the alarm to all the trolls out there. Imagine seeing a starter fit one-shot meleeing a proto suit, or having a Saga insta-kill a Falchion.
Man up and spec into some proper AVs guys, quit thinking your boss because you want to blow a third of your match winnings and spend no SP just to force me to run 4 games in blueprints. I'm alright with running into this once ever handful of matches, but more and more people are resorting to this filthy tactic that only makes you look like the bluest of newbs. |

Being a mercenary is business. Using 60k isk to smash your pi+Ķata of tears out of the sky not only makes perfect business sense, but also is fun and hilarious. |

This has always been "a thing", for some reason it has just started gaining more popularity for some reason. I only do this about once every 2-3 months on a game where my team is doing jack, there are excess dropships and I'm bored as hell. Of course I am nowhere near strapped for cash so a few dropships is pennies in my pocket and it really IS so satisfying to nudge that proto ship into a wall or into the ground. I don't know about a cowardly tactic, it is definitely a troll tactic, and judgin by the reaction, a very successful one |

heh, I remember nailin' some EoN prick outta the sky just for spite. afterburner, crap guns, max out my shields and rammed that poor little bus(logi) outta the sky.
hmm, wonder If I put on some active hardeners I could make one that can be used for multiple runs...
Oh, and if it's any consolation, I have proto rail turrets and can just one shot your ass outta the sky anyways. This is just more fun. |

I'm no full time murder taxi driver, but bumpering someone is still possible and viable, though to a lesser extent. Now do I think it makes sense that a suit that can take a hypersonic rail bolt to the chest and keep on keepin' on can also get destroyed by a jeep? No.
But we're talking apples and oranges here. The OPs dropship on dropship crime is more akin to another LV ramming your LV and flipping it. Which happens. And makes sense. And is not a problem. Just like the dropship issue. |

Hey, remember at least I gave you isk after I did that to you.

mmm...
I've rammed a couple of assault drop-ships with my militia drop-ship. It doesn't always work for me but when it does I just sit back and smile. XD |

Hey, remember at least I gave you isk after I did that to you. Haha, I remember that. Though the fact that you had rail turrets makes me believe your initial strategy was to gun me down, then we both kinds derpped and tried mid-air hugging. |

I do this. Dual afterburners on my Gorgon = win :)
Otherwise I just pull Wyka Breach or PRO Compressed Rail and whomp you anyway.
Knocking you out of the sky with my own derpship is just more entertaining. |
