I'd like to request "official" writeup on the basic nature of racial suit bonuses.

Bonus column, has some informaiton that I think is taken from somewhere in-game, although I don't recall where.
In it, there are such things as:
Gallente Scout Dropsuits
Scout Suit Bonus: 5% reduction to scan profile per level
Gallente Scout Bonus: +10% to dropsuit scan radius per level
This to me says that everyone gets the 5% reduction, but IF you are gallente, you also get the 10% scan radius bonus when wearing this specific type of suit.
On the one hand, I have found no official documentation confirming this. And some people seem to think all races get the bonus if they wear the suit.
But, if that is so, then
1. why do some people specifically choose Race X "for the racial bonuses"
2. why write it up like the above at all?? it should just list bonuses, without mentioning race at all.
So, please lets have an official Dev post on this?
If you are not a Dev but want to chime in anyway, please either include a reference to an *official CCP document*, or refrain from posting on this.

The racial bonus is tied to the racial suit. Your character race is not relevant for the bonus. The whole part with suit and racial (suit) bonusses is a bit misleading in its description. But this true for some other skills too. |

I also think you're making it a lot more complicated than it is, which is easy to do with CCP wording.
The bonus's that are in the description are the bonus's that the suit gets.
It does not transfer to other suit types.
