I just grind out more SP and it's whatever because I'll get what I was aiming for. Simply a matter of time.
Added note: It also helps that I don't follow the "trends" of weapons. Spec into what feels right for the long haul, not what is cheap for a moment.
Last note: I am not including the Plasma Cannon. That has been my dirty pleasure for quite a few builds now. |

Eve: online is on its 10th plus year with the largest balancing process that has been in many years. So if you don't like balancing i Would not recommend a game made by CCP since they like to do constant updates, if you want a game to be released and forgot about play CoD |

Would be nice.
My ADD / OCD doesn't agree with sitting on SP for weeks on end, nor does it care for the millions of SP I have spread around in **** I don't care about
::shrugs::
I still stomp the **** out of most people I run across, and I run strictly militia in most cases, and basically always run solo.

I do something similar, but standard. Standard because most of my suits are also standard, spare for the advanced logistic and scout. I will not use prototype gear, despite me having stockpiled quite a number of both suits and weapons of the prototype variety.
It's sort of a... I don't know how to explain it. "Honor amongst warriors" sort of thing. It's not a hidden thing that Dust is struggling a bit with numbers for population. It's my "thing" (I suppose) to welcome new players as a player on a slightly raised hill (as I am heavy into core skills) instead of from atop of a mountain.
Added note: I do occasionally run an advanced suit with an advanced weapon, but that's simply me saying hello to the tankers as a FGer. (In other cases, just standard FG with Dren.) |

When the rest of the vehecles, dropsiuts weapons and modules come out, i think a respec would be good for the game.
Right now we ALL have a limmited choise of weaponry etc, i think it would be nice to se players run whit all kinds of weapons, suits etc. |

I made NO mistakes in my training, and i would almost surely train the exact same skills as i have now.
That said i still think a respec would be a DAMN GOOD thing for the game, when ALL the new stuff has come, and NOT before and NEVER EVER again... |

Or they can just do what most people have been doing and just stop playing the game entirely ... not exactly ideal on a f2p game where most people have nothing invested ... I think it should be the players choice not your choice because you don't want one .. I don;t particularly want one either but I dont care if other people get one because i'm happy with what I have and I'd much rather lose on a game that has hundreds and thousands of players tons of game modes, quick match queuing than stomp a few hundred players too feel good about myself
No respecs and the game ends up being pulled ...
Allow a set amount of respecs and the game grows ...
It's clear at the moment that the vets can't keep this game running and catering to what they want has seen new player numbers and even people actively playing the game drop significantly, I've played since BETA and this game is dieing however you dress it up |

Yes. A respec with the introduction of new racial variants for those people who made the choice to play a certain role, with the race they didn't want.
As opposed to NOT playing Dust at all for fear of wasting SP. Reward player's patience and players who have supported this game. Respec for racials as they come |

Why do you need a respec in a game with unlimited skill points?!
I could see people wanting a respec if there was a sp cap and you could not try everything, but in dust there is no cap so you just got to keep going till you get what you want |

Just for Dropsuit Command when we see the new ones. And of course Vehicle Command when those roll out.
I wouldn't hate a respec, but I'm already secure in Core Upgrades (6m SP invested there) and have most weapons (no knives or plasma cannons yet) to at least 3s.
Although, I am on the verge of petitioning to have every drop of SP I've invested in those GD MFing piece of **** shotguns to be refunded. (FFS) |

Don't have 1 then .. just because you don't want one shouldn't mean someone who does want one can't have one
I still do not get this No respecs thing ... i have 21m SP on my main... i honestly couldn't careless if people have respecs all it will do is make more people stronger which makes matches more balanced which makes the game more fun ... Then again I'm actually good at the game and don;t get my kicks out of stomping new players like alot of the other supposed Vets

The following is a cookie-cutter reply to everyone who filed a petiton for the FINAL respec back in May of 2013.

Posted at 17.05.2013 17:04 by GM Grave Hello,
This response is being sent to all users who have filed a support ticket in order to request a skill respec.
We would like to acknowledge receipt of your skill respect request and inform you that we have now flagged your account for a skill respec .
The skill respec will be applied to your characters in the coming days once we have completed and deployed changes to the skill tree. This one time respec will remove and refund all ISK and skill points that have been applied to date. Please ensure that due care is taken when spending skills and ISK as we will be unable to reverse ISK/SP spending in future.
If you wish to discuss issues that have not been addressed in this skill respec response, or believe you have received this message in error then please respond to this support ticket and we will attempt to address your issue.
Please accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Please note that if you are receiving this message you are currently in a queue for a skill respec. Eligible customers who may have been misfiled and would like to request an Aurum account reset should respond to this ticket clarifying their request.
Regards, Lead GM Grave CCP Customer Relations | EVE Online | DUST 514
No more respecs are coming. At least not the FULL respecs.
The only kind of SP refund you might get are partial ones such as when they remove skill books that you invested in or reduced the SP cost of the skill books. Practically, just like how they did it with their Eve Online skill tree. To this day, after ten years, Eve Online still undergoes constant rebalancing of the ships and skill books and so far NO FULL respecs were handed out since 2003 which was supposedly the last time a respec was ever handed out. |

It's funny how this is obviously something many players want.
We will get a respec system, especially if the game doesn't pick up in popularity come christmas / if the PS4 puts a serious hurt on the game.
Gotta keep us in somehow. |

/facepalm
Dude, the Neural Remap system IS NOT A RESPEC SYSTEM!!!
Seriously, how many times do I have to repeat myself here? The remap doesn't reallocate any of the SP you have in Eve. It only allows you to reallocate attribute points across any of the five attributes that the skill books have so that you can decide which skill books train FASTER and which ones train SLOWER.
Also, it's once a year, not every 6 months.
Cheers. |

Your talking about the Neural Remapping feature.. It does not change your skills it changes your attributes- intelligence, perception, charisma, willpower and memory.

If you think the Dust SP system is a crippled baby, then up until 2012 the Eve Online SP system was once a patient in a coma. |
