Yes, an Attack LAV (but would be better to use Attack Methana or Attack Saga) is basically an Anti-Infantry oriented LAV that uses it's turret as a weapon more often than it's grill.
Today Reav and Achilles and I tested out my latest Methana fitting:
20GJ Neutron Blaster
2x Azeotropic ward extenders
CPU Enhancer I
MLT CPU Enhancer
Militia Overdrive
The thing is pretty tanky, around 1990 Shields and something like 2200 Armor. It's totally mobile and Reav definitely landed some kills with it. We used it to ferry around the map hacking the outer objectives and whatnot. At one point we did bring it to the city to flank some people who were camping an entrance.
It worked pretty well. It can eat a forge or Railgun hit and still have shields but of course a methana's regen is terribad. Anyways I am back on track to the Attack Methana. |

1. Yes lack of vehicle skills
2. I didn't need 2 basic CPU enhancers so to cut costs I swapped for a militia
3. Working on propulsion skill, need like 10K more SP

-I discovered long ago in Chromosome that Shield tanking a gorgon with mild armor modules was pretty survivable. In fact almost anything Gallente can tank as it pleases. So I applied that Omni Tank ability to this LAV and really it was pretty wonderful. It's like the swarm resistance of a Saga but the PG you dream about. |

Go right ahead. I had some spare PG/CPU when I fitted a basic scattered blaster so I swapped for a Neutron Blaster for better overall performance. |
