R 0 N 1 N, is a CORP in which I personally/ few others will train newer players in the ways of Scouts and with weaponry in Shotguns/Snipers/Assault/Infiltrating. This group is a more 1 on 1 Bushido type of training where a Mentor will ONLY have up to 1-2 students at a time in order to properly train and grow their knowledge of the way of Scout/Weapon. The courses are free of charge to enter but there will be a 5% surcharge after each battle. We also have tenets that we go by:
Courage Rectitude Benevolence Respect Honesty Honor Loyalty
Our Mentors:
Lightning xVx - Scouts/Shotguns
SniperAssassinV2 - Snipers
We are still new and growing, but are willing to contribute to the community.
NOTE*: You DO NOT have to be a Scout to join, we also welcome all kinds of players. But primarily focus on Scouts. |

Oh, a tutorial corp. Really need more of these.
To those that wish to be a scout I just wanna let you know that it is a hard and unforgiving role. It is, however, the funest role you could play.
Things to expect:
High death count at the start. Tactical scouts are dead once seen and slayers must rely on hit-N-run tactics which may not always work out in there favor. With practice it will start to feel like second nature and that KDR of yours will quickly start climbing.
A lot of "WTF OMG THAT WAS AWSOME ROFL" moments. And I mean A LOT.
Think you got the guts to take this guy up on his offer? Then I salute you and hope to see you on the battle field for some sweet duels.
`Sigh. Just another fun game of DUST. |

Are you interested in joining the Learning Coalition?
The Learning Coalition is a coalition of Corporations, Groups, and Individual Instructors who work together to provide training opportunities to its members. We are not an Alliance, and we do not require you to be neutral, although Learning Coalition events and activities will be considered neutral ground if two members happen to be in conflict outside of the Coalition activities.
We use the GÇ£Learning CoalitionGÇ¥ chat channel to share access to our students, and to give our students access to services that other members offer.
Current members include:
- Immortal Guides: Offers Basic training to new mercenaries and acts as a feeder Corp to BojoGÇÖs School of the Trades.
- BojoGÇÖs School of the Trades: Offers Advanced and Specialized training.
- Mango group: A group of highly skilled individuals who take new players under their wing and squad with them to give training in the field from basic to advanced levels.

For those who don't know, Lightning vXv is a beast. He knows what he is talking about.
Also, I run Knives/SMG, and I will tell you this....
Scout suits will make you RAGE. If you thought dying was easy in a Medium Frame, THINK AGAIN.
Math proves that most scouts can be taken down in about 7 AR shots. New scouts regularly get 3 shotted.
HOWEVER.
It is literally the most fun suit in the game. If you are an adrenaline junkie, you will LOVE this suit. Yeah you will die a lot. Get used to it. Eventually with the right practice and tutoring, you can pull off amazing kill-feeds.
A personal favorite of mine is running up to a group of 4 red's and watching my squadmates say "Ghost, what the hell?" when a double nade pops up, followed by a proto knive kill and an SMG kill or two. You can do CRAZY damage if you put yourself in the right position, but that is the real challenge.
Think you got what it takes? Sign up. Join the Scout Channel. We will laugh with you, rage with you, and kill with you. And talk about what a fantastic time we are having

Lightning xVx I was hoping to talk to you over the weekend, but I am not sure if we are in any of the same channels. What I did discover is that the Contacts list and even the Watch list does not tell you if someone is online or not. What good is a Watch list if it does not tell you if the person you are watching for is online?
Anyway, I was talk with Artificer Ghost, CEO of BojoGÇÖs School of the Trades and we think that given the narrow scope of your training Corp that you would fit well in the Learning Coalition. Basically in my Corp, Immortal Guides, I recruit new players and help teach them the basics of DUST. If they express an interest in running Scout suits, I will direct them to R 0 N 1 N for more information. If they decide to go Scout full time they can join R 0 N 1 N. If my members choose to follow a different path, such as Dropships, they will move to BojoGÇÖs School of the Trades. At the same time we all share resources through the Learning Coalition chat channel. It seems to be working fairly well so far. I have a number of Mentors from other Corps who squad up with my students to help them out using the Learning Coalition channel. |

When would be a good time for all of us to actually sit down and discuss this? I am not sure if I have ever seen Bojo the Mighty, Charlotte OGÇÖDell, Artificer Ghost and myself online at the same time. The closest we have come is Artificer Ghost, Bojo the Mighty, and myself in a squad for one game, but Bojo did not have his mic on, so I have never actually talked to him in person.
We mostly communicate using in game mail, out of game email, and on my Corporation forums. (They have no-skill alts in my Corp for that purpose.) We might be able to setup a time for the two of us to squad up and talk, and invite the rest to see if any of them can make it. Send Renier Gaden an in game mail to let me know when you are available. I can monitor RenierGÇÖs mail throughout the day, but can only check FoxGÇÖs mail when I am logged in on the PlayStation. (One of the advantages of having an EVE character.)
In the mean time, you are welcome to join the Learning Coalition chat channel and see what goes on in there. We had someone in there, not one of my members, looking for advice on Scout last weekend. |

Because it may or may not be the only thing I'm NOT good with. Not even joking here. Plasma Cannon? Easy! Commando? Just gimme a couple guns to play with. Scout though? I stay positive, but not without dying over 10 times per match. Really. A particularly bad one was 20/19. Just terrible. :( |

Right, and after looking at the previous posts (I kind of skipped ahead a bit...), I think I should probably tell you what's going on with myself.
I'm on constantly. I rarely play anything but DUST and Skyrim. However, I'm not on the forums a lot (As you can see), a habit that I need to get into.
Bojo's, as you know, teaches people advanced tactics, fittings, and specialization roles. As mentioned in my previous post, I'm skilled into everything and can effectively use all weapons and most vehicles. Bojo's also focuses a lot on Dropship Piloting, because it's a pretty under-rated class and if you're good at that, you're good at anything (Except scouts, apparently...).
I'll see about you and I squadding up at some point, so we can discuss the details. Like I said, I'm on pretty often (About 3x more often than Fox, if not more, I'd say. xD), so running into me shouldn't be a problem.
NOTE - The reason I teach a lot of spreadsheet stuff, and statistics, and fittings, is usually because when people squad with me to learn, it usually boils down to one of three things.
1) I'm raging too much to actually teach. I get really angry sometimes. 2) My ADHD makes it so that a firefight distracts me, and my memory is so bad that I literally can't remember what I said a minute later. 3) The whole concept of learning just goes to hell, and I just start messing around and generally being an idiot (I've been known to say "Yolo" at least once per match).
Other than that, the only thing I really have to say is that if you need any starting money to help your corp, give me a price and I'll think it over. |

But back on topic. I finally managed to catch Lightning xVx online to have a chat, and it looks like we are on the same page.
R 0 N 1 N has officially become a Corporate member of the Learning Coalition, along with Immortal Guides (basic training) and BojoGÇÖs School of the Trades (advanced specialized training).
In the next few days I will be sending out a Corp mail to let my members know about R 0 N 1 N so that if any of them want to specialize in Scout they can switch Corps. One of the nice things about the Learning Coalition is that after joining R 0 N 1 N they will still have access to their former Corp mates at Immortal Guides via the Learning Coalition chat, and they will still have access to classes or events held by BojoGÇÖs School of the Trades. |
