so I am speccing into gallente logi suits.
the skill bonus reads that it lowers the cpu and pg requirement of equipment by 5% per rank.
leveling up the skill doesn't sem to effect this at all, so my only guess is I either missed a key word somewhere or it's a one time bonus, I suppose it could be broken as well.
anyway I had 51 of 51 pg before I ranked up and had 51 of 51 after I ranked up. |

Does it maybe refer to rank as in tier, i.e. the effects are only kick in when you move from standard to advanced to prototype? |

maybe but that would seem a bit odd, I have no way to test it till I reach advanced suits though |

It means of equipment, like the stuff that goes in equipment slots.
So at level V, each piece of equipment you fit will have -25% less fitting requirements. IOW you can fit 4 items for the fitting price of 3. |

yep it was a logi suit and my equipment was full, it had no change when I leveled my gallente drop suit skill up. it was only a basic frame though. |

I presume its the same as the weapons cpu skill
It doesnt increase your cpu on the suit, but when you equip a gun say at lvl 5 op, it takes less cpu, even though when you look at the gun the stat hasnt changed, but even so it does infact cost less |

Basic frame and logi suit are not the same thing. You have to actually use a logi suit. And if you really want, take the level your logistics skill is at, times that by 5 to get your percent, then take that percentage for a single piece of equipment listed on its stats page. Then put that same equipment on your fitting a lone and see if it took less PG/CPU. |

What equipment were you running? A 5% decrease to an item that uses less than 15pg has a chance of receiving no reduction. |

The PG is not added to your suits maximum PG output.
Any piece of equipment's PG requirement is reduced by P% because of that bonus. |

yes but i still had the full 51 of my 51 pg.
meaning it reduced nothing -.-
nowhere in this thread did I say anywhere that it should be increasing my pg. |

It could be that the 5% difference in PG cost for the equipment didn't make a whole number, so the fitting tool won't show a difference. |

Im not sure how the rounding works
however if its a cpu and pg bonus, you should be seeing the bonus on the cpu |

unfortunately I didn't take note of that before I ranked up, I will be paying a lot more attention for rank 3, 4, and 5 though. |

The part I put in bold is where he's listing the suit's maximum PG output.
MAXIMUM PG OUTPUT = 51. Before AND after, maximum PG output = 51.
CURRENTLY USED PG = 51. Before AND after, NOT MAXIMUM PG OUTPUT, BUT TOTAL USED = 51. This is the number that the skill SHOULD BE REDUCING and he's saying it isn't doing so.
Before accusing others of not reading, you should probably consider taking lessons yourself.

To test the cpu, you can just create a blank logi suit, and just put in the std nanohive, instead of it taking 21 cpu, it should only take 19

the std injector only cost 2 pg to begin with lol
None of these will use less PG with the suit bonus. A 0.45 decrease gets rounded down to 0.
An item needs at least a 0.5 decrease for it to give a 1.0 decrease in PG used. |
