It's RP friend.
What would Arc do? Is he the kind of guy that would leave and return sans armour with little fuss? Would he start something? Is he understanding but wants to finish the conversation quickly before he leaves? As long as he doesn't do something insanely ridiculous that breaks the immersion and the character you're establishing I'm all good, but it's up to you.
I'm kind of new to this so I'm kind of just letting it flow naturally while playing my part.  |

Using that analysis I would have to say that he's probably having whatever the strongest drink in the club could possible be. I hope he doesn't throw up on my bar. |

One would think that as a person who mainly uses Matari weapons I would have realised this. Really don't want to have to put in a X-Ray system. Though... I could get creative I think. |

It's funny, originally I was going to hold the bartender and hold a little back and forth with you guys in a hostage ransom situation. Than Denak power walked up to me and Heathen and "pushed" us out of the way. The only options my guy had were either to run away, stand like an idiot or stay incapacitated. I chose three and chose to get knocked out.

It would have taken me as much time as holding my breath until I die, waking up in a fresh body, finding pants, walking back, knocking out the bouncer(Pretty sure Jakar might have been peeved about this bit) and kicking the door in. Then picking up my coat. It's genuine leather, with an amalgam of caldari and gallente art seal on the back. I'd really get angry if I lost that coat, it cost more than my pistols. And getting those tweaked to get past sensors was not cheap.

Well, I happen to know some very good craftsmen(seriously, where do you think I keep getting all these fancy pistols and knives from?) who owe me a favor or two, so getting a new door should be a non issue. You could also play up the immortals angle to draw a crowd since crap like this seems to happen nightly. although then you might have to get some bulletproof/bombproof stuff for the mortals to get behind when crap gets crazy. maybe some kind of automated shutter system on the dance floor an casino areas?

I got a question about minor OCs( original characters, your merc for example, or True Adamanace's Sajta and Jakar's Bruno), if he or she gets shot or injured, is it the creator who decides the fate, or the person who checks on him or her? Just a question since I see some rpers just OPing themselves and making decisions.
RP is slow, meticulous, and a mix of theatre and literature. A good rp, has good grammar, fluidity, and respect for the other rpers.
my second thing that I REALLY NEED PEOPLE TO AGREE ON.....HOW WILL WE COMBAT? T1, T2, how?

Though if this keeps up the regulars at the club would probably be able to walk through a battlefield while drinking vodka and singing a tune without a care.

Another thing I want to ask about really is the passage of time. As we've started more or less connecting the areas of the IGS, the passage of time seems to be a potential issue. In the same thread, saying that you leave and return in a half an hour's time where things would otherwise happen might create confusion as to who is where at what points in time. As for in other threads, for example it's the next day at the Hex, but it appears to be the night before at the PIE Emissary and Metsar is currently on my casino floor if you get where I'm going with this. Trick is it depends on how often people post to keep things moving, and sometimes real life just gets in the way. Thoughts? |

Yet for time: I think we should have a schedule, this is a throw-out idea, just putting it outwards and expecting some flak. Like every 10 days it's another day, we go to sleep, or we continue knowing it's the next day. I think that would be pretty good...but what's 10 days?I don't know if we need an IGS clock, like Jakar could update the date everyday on a tic timer or something like that....whadya think? Get Jakar to read this too if it's possible. |

there could be IGC subthreads where people talk as if they're in the IGS, and then other things just go as whatever name they want.
Like this, we know which threats apply to the actual, sort-a physical IGS.
Rules will apply to IGS like one character in a room at a time....and maybe time later on. |

Fair enough. I think I just let it go ahead because of how quickly the problem itself resolved, plus I try not to let that kind of thing spoil the fun but I tried to work off of it. I just let the situation add character to the club. It's completely resolved now I'd like to think. |

A quick backstory for Jakar, I'm going to actually write out the full thing probably within the next week or so but this is just as an OOC explanation for the whole potential black out thing. It may seem a little disjointed now for the sake of a summary.
Jakar, in his youth, was a few things: Hacker, Fixer (that is someone who can obtain items almost no matter what), and, occasionally, a doctor. Some of these skills he had when he joined a gang, and the one the doctor came while he was in. He was very technical and was able to lay down work for amazing plans from quick ambushes to the complete dissolution over the course of months of three other gangs, all of which were larger than the one he was in. Skip forward to Caldari Prime after he became immortal and had left the gang behind for a few years. He lost his Fiance Nissa Inara in the fighting on Caldari Prime. With that weighing on him constantly and he blaming himself for not being able to convince her to stay in Villore, he started drinking heavily in the following weeks. During this time he would often awake with missing time, sometimes waking up the on the battlefield during some excruciatingly painful moments. One other time, which quickly became a cause for concern to him, was when he blacked out and woke up days later in a warehouse full of various equipment and completed plans, including names, contacts and dates, for the assassination of Jacus Roden, who he blamed, along with Tibus Heth, for the Caldari Prime incident. Luckily, before this he had yet to obtain his leisure clone, so there was no face to recognise. Realising this was starting to escalate and he had no idea what was happening he had the entire warehouse jettisoned into a sun by someone he knew and stopped drinking heavily enough to get drunk.
There you have it. I hope it's not bad, cause I did put a lot of thought into it. The full things may be fairly long so I'll end up linking it in my short stories as well as the Character Bios thread.

It involved a lot of father son paradigms, Gurista's, and some pretty dark stuff...but it is a more interesting origin story than Kador's.

okay this is my character description / backstory of Arc08
(Arcs birth name is unknown to this day, even to himself it is a memory that he lost long ago being that he changed his name to Arc when he was only 8 years old)
* born to a wealthy family Arc never saw much of the people outside his family. Arcs' father was a famous historian, and his mother was a master minded scientist. Arc had the best education that could be offered, and his parents were very close to him unlike other wealthy children Arc always came first to his parents. He was told that in order to live a successful life one must look to both the past and the future for the answers.
*Arc grew up to be a Genius scientist just like his mother, but he only was as intelligent as he was because he went out of his way to study older scientists, even the ones that failed. Arc invented and discovered many things, most of which were not his own theories, but the theories of scientists that lived long ago. However when Arc first heard about the chance to become an immortal soldier he pounced on the chance.
*Arc used his massive wealth and bought the best training he could. Arc used his isk to buy himself into the cloned merc program, then went on a 10 year tour to all of the nations to learn the most efficient battlefield tactics and strategies. also during this time is when Arc gave himself many modifications, some using his own research and others he bought, these include his enhanced identical memory, facial recognition and reflex modifications (just to name a few)
*On and Off the battlefield Arc uses his extreme knowledge of both current and historical war tactics to excel on the battlefield. However one thing Arc still lacks is good social skills, even though he has greatly improved his social skills they still are lacking. But Arc more than makes up for it in his intelligence, and battlefield efficiency.
*Although Arcs intentions are all good, there is a dark secret that Arc has found, and managed to recreate for himself. Arc is a self made experiment and he is waiting for somebody to try and put the pieces together, and yet hoping no one will find out at the same time.

OKay i see and understand entirely what is happening!!!
So, I mistook who leithe was talking to, i thought he was talking to a dancer but instead he was talking to Niina right. I did not realize this but everybody was mad at me so i changed my post so that Leithe WAS talking to Niina and i made it so that i would go and talk to Jakar
But Leithe went back and changed it so that i was talking to Niina and he was Talking to Jakar, so there are two universes, one where i'm talking to Jakar and another where Leithe is talking to Jakar, I am talking to Niina in one universe and Leithe is talking to Niina in another!
So this is all up to LEITHE, do you want to keep talking to Jakar, or do you want to keep talking with Niina. YOU pick what universe you want to be in, then i'll go and edit all my posts to continue talking with either Niina or Jakar
Does everybody understand what is happening here now that i've layed some blueprints out?

Good Job evrybudy, it appears that we are essentially the best RP around these parts. one, we are entirely IC despite the very few amounts of OOC comments cause we do have some. Also we have way more views and posts, and more active members it appears.
Everyone just keep up the great work here, i know it is nice for people to hear they are the best at something every once and a while, even if it isn't official.
Just a suggestion... Wouldn't it be EPIC to have a dev, GM, or CPM in our RP, at least for a little while!

Hey guys, after my lengthy absence, me (Demel Derpovsky/Maximia Beflas) is/are back!
Sorry, my school work is taking most of my time, and then Warframe takes the rest of it, but I've lost interest in both and my progression in art is getting ever so better. Thus, I'll be trying to post little funny webcomics about the average nonsensial lives of both of them...and they're friends (you other rpers - who I have seen your pretty faces so I can try to draw them- and my other ocs (my demo eve pilot: Caldari, tall, slightly anti-social, gruff "Adam Jensen" kind of guy but has a weird thing for fine literature; as well as many other ocs I've come up with).
So I won't be making the comics like right now...It'll take a little time, but let me know/show me a picture of your oc in casual attire if you want to be in it.
I can also try to commission what you look like for 100k isk to Maximia Beflas....seriously.....she can't stop spending on her heavy suits. |

Indeed I have found it very hard to get back into Leithe's character, I am still in the works on his post.....same with True....its just kind of stale Dust side and that definitely affects how I write about Dust.
