So firstly, I'm completely new to RPing but I'll sure as hell try my best. If you got here from the link in the first post of my RP thread. Thanks for being interested enough to actually click on it. If I do something you might not agree with in the RP thread, place it here. Something you think I can improve upon, place it here. In general I only really control the people who work at the club. Civilians you bring in are you're own. Have fun. |

What would Arc do? Is he the kind of guy that would leave and return sans armour with little fuss? Would he start something? Is he understanding but wants to finish the conversation quickly before he leaves? As long as he doesn't do something insanely ridiculous that breaks the immersion and the character you're establishing I'm all good, but it's up to you.
I'm kind of new to this so I'm kind of just letting it flow naturally while playing my part. |

"Barkeep, where's that other drink?" What did this post mean? I'd say depression, which is attempted to be dealt with consuming large amounts of alcohol. And to further fall into depression, he slams his head on the bar counter quite hard, followed by barely breathing for two minutes and wiping the blood away from the wound he received from slamming his head to the bar. Why would he barely breath for two minutes though, is beyond me. Using that analysis I would have to say that he's probably having whatever the strongest drink in the club could possible be. I hope he doesn't throw up on my bar. |

Jakar possibly minmatar weapons, because they don't rely on any electricity. and they work like the current weapons of the day, so maybe your scanner is too high tech.
can i please respond to heathen, i want to sneak up behind him, kick him in the face while simultaniously paralyzing him it would prevent him from coming back to the RP for awhile One would think that as a person who mainly uses Matari weapons I would have realised this. Really don't want to have to put in a X-Ray system. Though... I could get creative I think. |

I want to gut Aztec IC for putting Satja in danger, and OOC kind of humour him since I managed to get my bearing with Satja's character. Can't say I blame you. I was going to just blow his brains out originally. Good move on making the character for Satja by the way.
I'm beginning to think having this OOC thread was not a bad idea after all. |

Well Hunter Junko was admittedly there, I actually went back to look for his posts to make sure he was actually there. Heathen, as annoying as his introduction was is also present. It should really be just the 5 of us if I kept track of everyone correctly. |

*Hangs head in despair.
I would like to apologise to you and Aztec. At least you guys didn't blow stuff up or actually kill people. How the hell am I going to fix this. It's supposed to be a club not a ******* warehouse. If I wanted a warehouse I would've said warehouse, then I would've put all sorts of fun things for people to blow up in it. |

If he had assaulted my club in a way that made sense with some kind of exposition I would have let it happen. He's clearly a douche in character which I don't mind, it makes it fun from an RP perspective. It's the douche OOC that's the problem. |

Okay I would expect that an OC would belong to the person who came up with the OC, this of course goes without saying that everything that happens to the OC would come from the person who came up with said OC. I guess I can let what Hunter did with Bruno slide. That said if your appearance is something that would in a scenario like this draw stairs, like if you walked in in a stock clone, feel free to say something like that. Though if this keeps up the regulars at the club would probably be able to walk through a battlefield while drinking vodka and singing a tune without a care.
21, as for you. It was okay. Your character clearly feels strongly about it, perhaps it's as the result of some incident maybe? Given that we're on a station we, we meaning immortal mercenaries, frequent you would think stock clones would be a normal thing, though I suppose in certain areas certain places we would more often frequent would be in less used areas of the station maybe? The club is clearly more mainstream. It's fun though because clearly my character and yours have differing views on the spending of money. If it's going to make you happy without being at the expense of others Jakar sees any spending of money fine. This of course is not his philosophy in certain situations. Like if a guy is a valid threat and you happen to like high explosives, without civilian casualties. As you've probably figured by now, Jakar has a problem with civilians dying.
Demel as for your question about combat I'll read it and probably post my own thoughts there.
Another thing I want to ask about really is the passage of time. As we've started more or less connecting the areas of the IGS, the passage of time seems to be a potential issue. In the same thread, saying that you leave and return in a half an hour's time where things would otherwise happen might create confusion as to who is where at what points in time. As for in other threads, for example it's the next day at the Hex, but it appears to be the night before at the PIE Emissary and Metsar is currently on my casino floor if you get where I'm going with this. Trick is it depends on how often people post to keep things moving, and sometimes real life just gets in the way. Thoughts? |

I'll spoil the surprise and say we're not going there yet. We may have to prepare for battle and while wine and women have been enticing motivators for war I don't think that's what we want right now. Though you guys can feel free to proceed down the second flight of stairs after the landing. |

As we did in the PIE emissary, when someone comes into your bar with a bomb you simply ignore them, we also had the King of the Jovians pay us a visit too. Now I really need to read through the PIE thread. I'm not particularly knowledgeable on your means of operations but it seems like you have mainly immortals working, so bombs wouldn't be a problem. I have a large civilian very mortal set of customers and employees in my club. |

Fair enough. I think I just let it go ahead because of how quickly the problem itself resolved, plus I try not to let that kind of thing spoil the fun but I tried to work off of it. I just let the situation add character to the club. It's completely resolved now I'd like to think. |

A quick backstory for Jakar, I'm going to actually write out the full thing probably within the next week or so but this is just as an OOC explanation for the whole potential black out thing. It may seem a little disjointed now for the sake of a summary.
Jakar, in his youth, was a few things: Hacker, Fixer (that is someone who can obtain items almost no matter what), and, occasionally, a doctor. Some of these skills he had when he joined a gang, and the one the doctor came while he was in. He was very technical and was able to lay down work for amazing plans from quick ambushes to the complete dissolution over the course of months of three other gangs, all of which were larger than the one he was in. Skip forward to Caldari Prime after he became immortal and had left the gang behind for a few years. He lost his Fiance Nissa Inara in the fighting on Caldari Prime. With that weighing on him constantly and he blaming himself for not being able to convince her to stay in Villore, he started drinking heavily in the following weeks. During this time he would often awake with missing time, sometimes waking up the on the battlefield during some excruciatingly painful moments. One other time, which quickly became a cause for concern to him, was when he blacked out and woke up days later in a warehouse full of various equipment and completed plans, including names, contacts and dates, for the assassination of Jacus Roden, who he blamed, along with Tibus Heth, for the Caldari Prime incident. Luckily, before this he had yet to obtain his leisure clone, so there was no face to recognise. Realising this was starting to escalate and he had no idea what was happening he had the entire warehouse jettisoned into a sun by someone he knew and stopped drinking heavily enough to get drunk.
There you have it. I hope it's not bad, cause I did put a lot of thought into it. The full things may be fairly long so I'll end up linking it in my short stories as well as the Character Bios thread.

Also Arc technically we were speaking moments ago and you went to talk to Heathen so it's not long time no see.

Sorry, I'm kind of suffering from a fatigue when it comes to all things Dust as I honestly think most of us are. The game just isn't kept fresh and with no lore related events it kind of throws a wrench in the RP clockwork. I would love nothing more than to keep going but I really just don't seem to have it in me anymore.
