I just was able to unlock the skills for the Caldari Assault suits and have an ADV "Neo" Assault C-1 setup. I'm looking for a better way to get more WP and kills. I average around 300 WP per match but what skills would i need to unlock to increase my shield and armor levels because I get killed pretty easily. |

Shield extender 100%. Don't use basic or enchanced if you can get complex, they all suck except complex tank yourself for a pretty rough ride. Dropsuits suck with no module let me make that clear to new or noob dust players (No offence) armor sucks don't get that unless you wanna be as slow as amarr heavy, believe me it sucks to run 3m per second. |

It's worth saving for the prototype one. It's 2x as much HP as the enhanced. Also don't listen entirely to smooth assassin, fitting *1* basic armor plate and a basic armor repairer on your shield-tanked suit is a very, very good idea. I would do this first, as it will take almost no SP to get the basic versions of armor. Additionally, put 2 or 3 levels into the "dropsuit shield upgrades" skill, the one that's a prerequisite for shield extension. It'll add 5% to your base shields per level, which for Caldari Assault suits is more than 10 HP per level, or 1/2 of a basic shield extender. |

also if you are looking to get warpoints then look at getting drop uplinks or nanohives. depends on how your team is doing. but if you deploy uplinks in an ambush you will get tons of wp.
also assault suits are made for killing not wp farming. if you really want to get wp then go the logi route. there are 3 types of logi's, the uplink, ammo, and triage. in your equipment slots for triage you would use an injector, reping nanohive and an active scanner. my proto caldari logi suit can go toe to toe with almost every proto caldari assault. and when im done i sit back and wait for my armor to rep up then go revive some players for 72wp with a defend order on rep them up for even more wp as well as refill there ammo. |

not sure how much sp you have or what you have spent it on.
maximise HP for SP as qucik as possible.
get shield extenders to lvl 5 armour plate lvl 1
passive HP skills can be done at a later date
get a C/1 - so much better for so little cost (also easier to fit stuff due to PG/ CPU cost if running AR get a gek
if you want quick WP farming as an assault use the militia repair tool and follow a heavy around or use the nanite injector to revive the dead. Dont worry about pro rezzing, go for the 60WP. The WP rewards are so messed up in this game you get more for reviving than killing.
If you really want to maximise WP get an advanced logi suit (I think minmitar, but if you have started the caldari racial tree you could get the advanced Cal logi suit very quickly.
Fit logi suit with droplinks, injectors, and or repair tool/ nanohives

I really got to try scanning - I've got the feeling I'd really like it...
Would miss being able to rep randoms, though... |

"Armor Upgrades" and "Shield Upgrades" As a caldari you have an edge with shields but not so much with armor so I suggest shield tanking (utilizing shield based modules).
Your kill count will rise if you spec more heavily in your weapons of choice as there corisponding skills can increase accuracy, ammo, reload speed, weapon sway, and even damage.
Happy hunting.

Your kill count will jump with scanners 1.5 will give them WPs so at that point you will no longer miss the reps lol.

Ok so get an Active Scanner and then start deploying droplinks. Should I be worried about hacking installations or anything like that because I always get caught.? Im trying to build up some SP so I can get a better AR and a Proto DS but it just takes a while. |

Hacking CRUs and Supply Depots is important, though. Either way, use your active scanner right before hacking to check if anyone is around wanting to sneak up on you .

Not really, WP only give 1 SP per, so while scoring more (i.e. through uplinks) will help, it's not very significant. Unless you buy boosters, you're going to gain SP at a pretty static rate. Just make sure you cap out your bonus SP each week. Proto modules are far more important that a protosuit. An ADV suit with proto modules will outperform a PRO suit with advanced modules. The protosuit, IMO, should be the last thing you get in whatever your chosen build is. |

Yeah I heard you get a lot of WP for planting Drop links. I almost have enough SP to enable an Active Scanner so I will see how that works. |
