This would allow corporations to not only financially reward those who are above average players, but also give a fine fighter a more permanent proof of his performance.
I would suggest that the price tag for both creating them and giving them out remains quite high, as doing so will ensure that they are not handed out like candy, thereby cheapening the value. This I would love. I have already earnt one from PIE Inc high command for my service during the Defence of Arzad.
Medal of ST Agelioth here I come.
I have mentioned this before to CCP. We need access to proper character cards like EVE players have so that we may bestow bounties, write Bio's, have Corp Employment Histories, and also earn ranks, medals, and such. |

True Adamance, great point about the character cards. I am sure a lot of this in in the works, way in the background where we can't see it yet, but it is there. Yet, as my experience in RL and Eve have proven; giving short and long term goals with tangible results (like achievements and rewards like unique badges, ribbons, etc.,) is a very quick way to motivate people immediately. Thanks for the thoughtful reply and great input. Kind regards, - Nasty Its a very handy tool in EVE too. If I see a short range WT pop up I check his card before skiddadling out of there, unless he is a newer pilot than me, in which case I try to crush him.
In Dust this would be a very useful and immersive tool. |
