I've been waiting a long time for the Vita app, twice CCP gave a release window and twice it went by without a single mention. 
Is there anybody who has any information about the app being close to done or a potential Beta program that's going on I could sign up for?
I'm not bashing anyone, I just really would love to give that awesome app a go :P

They also have not answered the questions from the vita app Q&A yet. CCP Frame said he would have the answers 3 months ago. |

This reminds me when CCP promised 48 player battles. When the game released they never mentioned it. Once the PS4 comes out this game will loose alot of PS players, because will be going to Battlefield 3 and Planetside 2. |

well does he mean 48 players total or 48 vs 48?
Battlefield 4 will only have 64 players total meaning 32 vs 32 battles on the PS4 while the PS3 only has 24 players total meaning 12vs12 BUT at least battlefield has destroyable buildings and such |

If you read what I wrote he said "Once the PS4 comes out this game will loose alot of PS players, because will be going to Battlefield 3 and Planetside " I don't think battlefield 3 will be played on the ps4. |

Rumors aside, here is the truth about the Vita app: CCP Merovingian (the guy that was leading the app's development) said on Twitter that it was handed over to another department and that he too awaits an update from them. It's not dead, just quietly tucked away for a later date. |

Shouldn't have to follow someone on twitter to find out he's no longer on the project that he was publicly announced to be fielding questions for (on the forums). |

The problem I have is that he still knows most of the answers to those questions, as the app was very close to completion. And yet we are just left here to sit and speculate. |

Nothing official but my own speculation is that it's waiting on Dust 514 to a bit more... feature complete. Something like oh say the player market.
Also CREST API is slowly being turned on for Dust 514 as time goes on soon as its fully opened as much as CCP would like we may see the CREST API app for Vita, I however fear that people will be making better apps on the iOS and android at that time.
Anyways I have poked now I have to wait for an answer, there is only so much the community devs can do.
Sorry I have nothing official for you guys yet. |

I've been having this intuition that CCP Unifex is moving behind the scene here. The Vita app is ostensibly a part of CCP's mobile platform, which Unifex is overseeing now. It would surprise me if there were not high level discussions taking place re: where The DUST 514 Vita app fits into whatever he is cooking up. |
