Okay, I feel it needs to have an official meaning. Perhaps, it will be an honorary title that is given by the tanker elite to each other and to those who intend to join our ranks.
I'd like to think a 'Honey Badger' is one of those tankers (maybe 1 out of 20 you encounter) that is absolutely terrifying. Someone that needs multiple proto AV to take out and can handle 2 and even 3 other lesser tankers by him or herself.
For the most part, we have a good understanding of who they are, but I think I'll make it a thing in 1.5 and then make it a post. Perhaps it can be like a degree in tanking to use when applying to a corporation. To do this, it must only be the highest quality of tankers who get it (right now, it's mostly the salty vets). |

Maybe one day I'll be sufficiently salty to earn a place on yon list.
In the meantime, why is the channel called 'Honey Badger' anyway?
Is it simply because a good tanker 'don't give a sh*t, he just do what he wants' or whatever it is? |

We are Honey Badgers because honey badgers survive in the kalahari desert and kill things way bigger and more poisonous against them and it never gets easier. Think of it as representing the eternal struggle we have had against the infantry (AV), Most of the tankers washed out, but those that remain are adaptable and tenacious warriors. We don't get nerfed- we just find out another way to kill.
We cannot die. We cannot be nerfed. We are OP; not our horses of death.
Long live the White Stallion and the Grey Mare.

To answer the question that is the title of this thread.
A honey badger is an animal made popular by a guy named Randall on youtube two and a half years ago that people, to this day, won't shut the **** up about.

If the Vayu was worth anything, I may have skilled into that a while ago. If it had overall better everything, resources and HP, then it would be worth it. But as it is now, it has less resources than the Madrugar, which makes it far worse off, considering it's considerably more expensive SP and ISK, and has a 3rd high slot. I'd put a scanner, heat sink AND NOS module on a Vayu if it was notably better. But, it's worse than the Madrugar, and those that like pain call them in. |

Make all the tankers change their turrets to Missiles or Blasters. I stopped tanking because everyone and their friends are always sitting on top with rail turrets. Tanking became annoying not just because of AV's, also because of every other guy fitting a rail turret and thinking he is a great tanker. i hope there will be more blaster tankers. Till then no awards or recognition. |

Flank that Rail Gunner, if you can't snipe that Rail gunner.
Its simple and Falchion was sitting on a hill back in their red line Sniping me.
I relocated call in my Rail Soma and not even being able to see the Falchion Gun it down. Then I switch back to my blaster and no other tanks get on the field. |
