Could be a variant of the current scrambler pistol. This one is fully automatic. Simple concept.
General Stats
Damage: 24 HP
RoF: 400 RPM
Accuracy: 54.2
Clip Size: 18
Max Ammo: 128
Reload Time: 2.5 seconds
I kept the same DPS as the standard scrambler pistol, decreased damage and increased clip size. You can reload 6 times before running out of ammo with the standard scrambler pistol, so to keep things proportional I made sure you can reload 6 times with the automatic variant. I kept the same RoF, accuracy, and reload times.

Right why dont you just use a regular SMG instead? the toxin does 20HP damage and fires 800 rounds per minute. Which basically is allmost double of your proposed "fully auto scrambler pistol".

You're right about the SMG thing. I haven't really compared this suggestion and the SMG. I increased the damage by 75%. Also keep in mind this weapon also has the same range as the standard scrambler pistol, giving it an edge against the SMG in that category as well. |

That's like saying an Assault Scrambler Rifle is unnecessary because we have an Assault Rifle.
This has better range and higher damage than an SMG. Both have way different philosophies. SMG is based on pray and spray, this is based on well-aimed concentrated automatic shots. |

"well-aimed concentrated", and "full auto" do not belong together.
If you want more damage.. fine, petition for a higher damage pistol.
however, in my mind, the whole point of the scrambler pistol, is to provide an ultra-low-power weapon of last resort.
At this, it does a pretty good job. and it actually has a high rate of fire if you spam the trigger.
if you cant hit what you're aiming at, within 6 shots fired in 1 second... then your fire is not "well-aimed".
Because if it were ,you wouldnt need more than 6 shots!!
Like the other poster says, sound like you want an SMG. For which you will have to pay a PG penalty. It's only fair.

What? I take my Scrambler Pistol toe-to-toe with Heavies. I rarely need more than a full clip with the Basic one GÇö and only two or three headshots. Hell, I'd rather Heavies get into Pistol range than try to burn them down with the Laser Rifle. It's just quicker. |

Surrender thine 425% headshot damage, and I might consider agreeing. Otherwise, you're trading a skillshot weapon for a "well, I'm sure a couple of these will hit the head" weapon.

I'd like to see the Scrambler Rifle renamed to a Pulse Laser Rifle, a Pulse Laser Pistol (automatic pistol) and a Scrambler Rifle that is a sniper rifle so it can keep the headshot multiplier from the scrambler pistol. |
