I guess this belongs in general discussion and Ideas. Since a bit of a problem, and some thinking has been done on my part.
I recently started two other characters, using up all character slots. Only to think back on my participation in the Closed Beta, and all of which i've received from participating in the Beta. Namely the Skinweave suits and whatnot.
It got me wondering... was there an ability to assign specific things to specific characters? I'm wondering since there are multiple Skinweave suits. Each covering every category of Dropsuit. Scout, Assault, Heavy, etc.
I made specific characters for specific roles, and i look back on the Skinweave suits and really wish i could assign certain suits to their respective characters. I'd really want to spread certain skillpoints across certain character for the sake of having roles. For example, i'd like to assign/give the SCOUT Skinweave suit to my character which i've made specifically to be a Scout. But... it can't be done since i've already claimed the reward. A LONG time ago. And i qualified a really long time ago.... (approaching a year, now).
I just kind of think it's unfair... The fact that i could only assign these items to one character. When the suits cover all suit categories. I personally would like to spread roles across characters. Training everything = Not for me. I'd like to take advantage of multiple characters.

With multiple character you can asseign different items to them. So three skinweaves can go to 3 different characters but only if they were seperate on the queing list. Say you got 50 kills on each character and for 50 kills you unlocked 20 BPCs of the standard AR, you can asseign each of the 50 to a different character or 100 to one, 50 to another but not 25 to one and 75 to another, |

Oh... hell.
I already assigned everything to my Beta character... A long, long time ago.
Any chance CCP gives item reassigns? I really don't want everything on one character that's never going to use it all. Pretty wasteful. But i wasn't aware you could separate it like that. Damn...

They moved duplicate BPOs from my main to an alt upon request, but that's as far as it went. |

Training core skills on one character was painful enough. I can't imagine trying to do two alts without the benefit of passive SP. once past the initial free SP I'd think just cross training your main would be more efficient. |

Yeah, i started two other characters with the thought of being able to accumulate passive SPs. Unfortunately... that's not the case. Kind of sucks... |
