Never hop in the driver seat of a vehicle that doesn't belong to you. You've just cost that player hard earned ISK and he is no longer able to play at his best. Doing this is the reason why players are asking for locks to keep you out.
When gunning, don't shoot at a turret instillation until the driver signals/says it's ok. Shooting at them as soon as you see them will cause it to lock onto the vehicle and kill everyone inside. This is another reason why players are asking for locks.
Don't stare at your partner as he exchanges fire with the enemy. If he dies then you're probably gonna die next.
Don't butt in when an ally and an enemy are attacking each other with knives. You will royally p*** off BOTH of them.
If you are hacking an enemy CRU and your allies start attacking you....STOP HACKING! Your allies are farming kills and you are more than welcome join them but the fun ends if the CRU is captured or destroyed.
If a driver/Pilot leaves his vehicle.... GET THE HELL OUT! He is most likely trying to recall it in an attempt to prevent it from being destroyed. This is not possible if there are still players in the vehicle.
When dominating in a game of domination, if you see a lone hostile attempt to hack the point... LET HIM! After he finishes you can kill him. The enemy can't spawn on the point so if they capture it you can still hack it back (don't counter hack) for an easy 100 WPs.
I'm attempting to do the impossible and restore some semblance of trust for you BBs but it is impossible to do so if you guys keep up such high levels of ignorance. To the vets, I ask that you let me know if there is anything else missing from this list of don'ts. I also ask that you refer the BBs you meat in-game to the "Rookie Training Grounds" section of the forums to ensure they receive as much info as possible. Sure this game has a lot of issues but the biggest problem I think we can all agree on is the new blood that this game keeps getting. If they continue to pick this game up while still clueless than the only results are more frustration, more QQ about OP items, and more players leaving (both good and bad ones).

I'm not saying you should always camp the CRU. Sure you need to prioritize and if others are camping it then 9 times out of 10 the objective is already under your control. I suppose I didn't make that clear as I was tired when I typed it up and that is my fault. Thanks for pointing that out.
@Judge: I suppose I could've used the term "Blue Berries" but most new players don't even know what the term means. My attempt was not to insult them but to inform them. They are ignorant as they have yet to get used to the game (we are all ignorant at first) and the advice was simply to relieve them of that ignorance. If I came on a little too strong than I wouldn't mind a good rewording as charisma was never my strong suit. Thanks for the feedback.
@emm: I see your point and thank you for the comment.
I'll try to think of a way to revise the OP in a way that is more sensitive and less...er... crappy. I wouldn't have known what was wrong without you guys so thanks again.

1) 100% resonable If it is a tank. If it is an LAV, maybe.
2) True it will lock onto you, but vehicle drivers should be aware of this. If it's my BPO LAV, go ahead. I'll just call in another one, no biggie. If it's my Chary or Limbus, expect hatemail. Yes. We are aware of this. Which is why we want you out of our tanks.
A new player most likely won't know the difference and so to be on the safe side I say just stay out the driver seat.
Again, if there are other things that should be listed or you have comments on the current list then I encourage you to say so. If you have questions about the list than please ask and I will answer to the best of my ability.

Oh wait, that's probably from 'experienced' players...newbs don't do that.
Yea, this is 85% of the time a troll that wants you to stop so they can get WPs. 10% of the time it's players just messing around. 5% of the time it's a newb that has yet to get the hang of things.

`Sigh. Just another fun game of DUST . And rest of that, like 7.312% (or something, i'm not math) it's a 'veteran' wanting to farm the last red objective. Stupid fucks. NEW GUYS: HACK EVERYTHING IN SIGHT! Farming CRU's and uplinks is dangerous business. Too many times I've seen enemy break out from 'farmed' spawn point, lol.
lol I suppose that would be better left to the vets and demolition specialists. A player in my "elite" corp likes to use RE to mine up a CRU and set 'em off when players start to spawn. It's so hilarious to watch those bodies get ragdolled through the air lol.

I canGÇÖt shoot it, as you will die and no time to swap to team chat either. Oooh boy, so if you set it off, it still damages team mates? I'd once set a grenade in to clear an objective - kind after dudes were already running in. Yes, quite a few bodies flew at the exact time of my grenade going off. Now I definately know. I'll have to avoid that! But hey, if the RE guy had set it off, same effect... Mind you, I've seen people land a grenade right in front of the objective, go to hack - and all get blown up by an RE anyway. Not sure where it was.
That's poor hit detection from partially concealed REs. That's why you always want to go with flux grenades as it hits through obstacles.

True, it IS always best to play with experienced players but they aren't always available.
The thread wasn't meant to insult but it is common for experienced noobs (players that are not all that good) to keep making the same mistakes that you would expect from a newb (inexperienced player). This is why the title is directed to both as apposed to just one or the other.
I normally squad up with my corp and have plenty of good moments but, as I said, they are not always available so I am forced to either play with the randoms or switch to my alt and still play with the randoms but using an inferior character.
Yea, it's a game and just how much fun can it be to do poorly and not know why? I was trying to provide the "why" so that these players may have an easier time in-game.
As I keep saying, if you find something is inaccurate than please say so as I would rather not be misinforming the vary people I'm trying to help.
