Hello, Our Corporation is new and looking to expand. I have a couple questions.
1 How can we make an alliance with another corp?
2 What are the benefits?
3 When we have the money for a clone pack can we have a safe haven to start or does it start with a battleground that we have to fight to keep right off the bat?
Thanks for all the help and Redzica is our corp if anyone wants to join.
(I ask cause we are just casual dust players since we hop from game to game and we feel like we can expand our experience in the EVE universe but arent always on)
Thanks again |

While we can answer these questions, you are asking these at the wrong forum, this place is mostly for political discussions and such. If you seek help on corporations or other related issues, I suggest you head here or here, CONCORD maintains it and there's a lot of helpful people there.
Anyway, onto the questions.
1. At the moment, only a capsuleer((EVE player)) has the ability to form alliances or join alliances.
2. Right now the only benefit for clone soldiers to be in an alliance is the ability to have a separate alliance channel, most of the benefits for such a thing are only accessible to capsuleers.
3. When you purchase a clone pack with ISK, you do not gain anything but the clone pack. The only way you can get a district for your own use is by attacking one, and that is what the clone pack is used for since you do not have an existing district that generates clones for you. Having more than one clone pack is recommended, because more often than not you have to attack the same district several times before you can conquer it. |

((Wrong section - Rookie Training Grounds might be a good place for questions like this. I'll try to answer anyway.))
1. An alliance requires a capsuleer to work - CONCORD do not currently allow mercenaries to form alliances on their own. To join an alliance, your CEO will also need to be a capsuleer. If you wish to become the executor of an alliance and form a new one, it will also cost you 1,000,000,000 isk. A billion isk is not a trivial fee, so be sure that's what you want to do. Joining another alliance is free though, and often a good solution if you're in a small corp, as it'll allow you to work with more like-minded mercenaries.
2. The benefits are you gain access to an alliance channel where you can communicate and co-ordinate with your alliance members. Typically, alliance mates will squad up together for their contracts, and provide support for each other in PC if necessary.
3. No. Buying a clone pack only gives you the means to attack a district - it doesn't do anything else. If you want your own district in Molden Heath, you have to earn it. This will require an active 16 man team on at most times of the day. Allliances can help with this, but small corporations simply can't compete in Molden Heath. |

Thank you both, very helpful and sorry for the wrong room. I saw it was political and thought it might work here. Thanks again though |
