CCP have been treating KB/M users like a disease, like a cultural threat, their superior skills and knowledge something that needs to be remove from this world. That sounds familiar to anyone ;

That one day, down in the CCP Office, with its vicious racists, with the developers having their lips dripping with the words of "interposition" and "nullification"... One day right there in that office, they will not look down on little KB/M boys and KB/M girls and we will be able to join lobbies with little DS3 boys and DS3 girls as sisters and brothers!
I have a dream today!
That one day every input shall be exalted, and every restriction shall be made low, the aim assist will be made plain, and the emulation disposed of; "it is then the glory of the CCP shall be revealed and all clones shall see it together.!" Its not our (KBM people) faults that they want an equal input when looking at it, their control type was designed with Platformers & RPG games in mind, where as FPS games started development for Keyboard at first and then added the Mouse when the game got their Third Dimension, then console got added because the hardware beefed up enough... Its never going to be equal, because their control method is flawed, but since this is a competitive gametype, its their fault to choose the wrong one....and regardless of this is a console bla bla, its always going to be shooter first and foremost... That being said if KBM is at 40% of what it is here then what it actually has to be, i can deal with 40% but even 40% seems to be too much for them to deal with. They should all HTFU and get a KBM setup and a year or so experience...then they will realise they still get beaten the crap out of them, why ? Because they still can't shoot straight .... At the end its still going to be the player, his reaction speed and fine motor control, because there are some fine DS3 users out there.
This have been said to CCP millions of times, by lots of very partial and smart people, and sadly most of them have left the game out of frustration. The "this is a Console game" argument have always been the priority for CCP. Mouse users are evil because they aren't like everyone else. Discriminating people by the device they use, is not worst than discriminating people because they have a different way of thinking, or different color skin.

Enough of the ridiculous persecution complex already! CCP could have developed this game for the PC and there would be no doubt that PC inputs would have been the priority. You cannot argue with the fact this this is in fact a console game. There is no need to suggest that console users have to buy/use additional gear just to play Dust on the PS3. Now, if CCP decides to implement that as a policy that would be their decision. For KB/M users to suggest this is just plain delusional. Mouse users are perfectly fine people -- but playing the persecution card because you don't like the way things are going is a tired game that makes you look foolish. It's a console game. Get over it. I don't have to be "discriminatory" to say that... now quit trolling already.
Listen to yourself... is like saying that an African person have not rights in Europe, because the majority of people is white. I hope you don't going into politics any time soon, i fear for our children. |

We already have it in Chromosome, but the DS3 extremist toke the mouse to the incinerators, and the KB/M users have been slowly exterminated in the Uprising build. The DS3 aimbot is the final nail in the coffin. It is actually suicide, considering that all EvE fans are PC gamer's that use KB/M.

So much for ; EvE DUST 514 I couldn't agree more man but unfortently I don't think CCP sees us KB/M users as a threat to their numbers as you can tell there is only a handful of us welling to speak out I'm guessing maybe a dozen or so on the forums.. We are definitely the minority, hence to why we have been getting the cold shoulder from CCP update after update.. But its a damn shame because I too came here from 6yrs of EVE and only PC FPS experience there is no way I could continue to use the mouse and keyboard in its current state.. :(
Is actually very stupid when you think about it, once the PS4 is release, CCP is going to completely relive on EvE fans and PC enlistees to keep the game going. You have to question CCP's marketing strategies, sometimes are pretty hard to understand. |
