Let me preface this post with a concise caveat to save my time and yours: This Corp is NOT an will likely NEVER be a competitive Corp.
I represent Spirit Collective [SPTX], a small corporation looking for a few fun and even tempered adults to hang out and chat with while we play. We are looking to run as a cohesive unit when possible, forming our own squads. However, it's also great just to BS in Corp chat while we're playing separately. This is a corp for people who love to play and have a good time, try to win whenever possible, but don't make a second life out of Dust. In other words, this is a corp for people who play as a hobby but have other things to do with their day-to-day lives.
That being said, we would like our corp-mates to have some experience, because our primary goal is fun, and it's fun to do well. If you haven't broken 1k WP in a match yet, you may want to practice a bit more, we don't feel that's an unreasonable goal. We do ideally want to play as a unit from time to time and strategic play is essential. This means we don't want you to be Rambo or have a problem with team play. We alternate Squad leader roles, so be prepared to give and receive orders in turn. We ask that you have been playing for at least a month and have at least 2 million SP assigned. We would ideally like to have a few people online every time one of us logs on, we'd like a community.
To get to know you, and so you can get to know us, we'd like to squad up a few times before admitting you.
We operate on Eastern Standard Time and are mostly active on weekends and occasionally weeknights.
What we take from you: 3% Corp tax. We use our Corp wallet to help corp-mates recoup from losses due to blueberry antics and Dust glitches. Excess funds will be used to help corp-mates purchase items or skills on occasion.
What you will get: A community of fun people who will not be rude, selfish or childish and will play the game with an eye towards performance but without losing sight of the fact that it is indeed a game. Also, you will receive very limited insurance from our corp wallet, for the purposes stated above. We also will be engaging in preferential item trades if such a functionality is ever implemented.
Who we are so far: Gh0st C0de - Graduate Student, University Desk Jockey, Researcher - 25 years old Fitting: Scout- Shotgun/Scrambler Pistol - Uplinks, Injector or Scanner - Approx 3mil SP assigned. Grimak Bal - Psych Major, Hospital Technician, Martial Artist Fitting: Logi - SMG - Repair/Hives/Uplinks - 30 Years old - Approx 5.5mil SP assigned. Saraila Belladonna- Student , Former MAG player- 20 years old Fitting: Logi - AR - Injector/Hives/Uplinks - Approx 2.5mil SP assigned
Qualifications:
1. You must be 20+ years old. 2. You must have a pleasant disposition. Be friendly. 3. You must have a mic. 4. You must speak intelligible English. 5. You must have been playing for at least 1 month. 6. You must have at least 2 million SP assigned.
We are not looking for a huge group of people, we want a few solid corp-mates who can play a good match and not take things too seriously. We'd like a balance, we're people who like to do well in our matches but not at the cost of neglecting the things that actually matter in life. We're not going to spend every single Friday night grinding SP when there are perfectly good bars in our area.
We're looking for all fittings and specializations, it doesn't matter much to us right now. This may change if we have more people join and begin to see an imbalance in fittings.
To the inevitable haters that permeate this forum: Before you leave idiotic and insipid comments, understand that we do not claim to be "ubeR 1337 k1ll3rz." This a casual corp, we are very discerning with who we let in because this is all about mature social interaction, not because we think we're going to conquer the imaginary universe. |

Hi there, thanks for the bump and the interest.
Crosseyed Fox: Thanks, feel free to jump into our public channel "Collective Soul" and chat whenever you feel so inclined.
Trey: That's an interesting idea, I'd love to explore the possibility. I don't think we'll be on for any significant amount of time 'til Thursday night at the earliest, mid week is pretty hectic for us. Definitely keep in touch and we'll squad up sometime! |

To bump, or not to bump--that is the question: Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous forums Or to take arms against a sea of trolls And by opposing end them. To bump, to grind-- No more--and by a bump to say we end The idleness of a thread , and the thousand inactive moments That this thread is heir to. |

Bump. Also: Notice of our intent to begin running Factional Warfare on behalf of the Gallente and Minmatar, for any potential corporation members interested. |

I have a feeling that the upcoming squad-finder is going to be a better recruitment utility than the forums. We'll See. |
