-How do you calculate damage for shotguns? Does it mean 40 x 8? or x12? 16?
-What exactly does a nanite cluster represent?
-Why is there a reload skill when you can save more time by knowing the reload trick?
-Where are the weak points on vehicles? Does it only apply to tanks or every vehicle?
I've been playing this game a long time and still haven't found out the answers to these questions. I probably have more questions but I can't think of any.
If you have any random questions you'd like answered, please respond in this thread and maybe we can get some things straight. |

Do you know if Installation Turrets have weak points? Cause it doesn't seem like they do, but then again I haven't really tried to find it. |

It's not really a glitch though. Have you seen a lot of the old videos reviewing Dust? One of the main problems was that players were sprinting after the clip was put into the gun, which caused a failed reload (and some very annoyed players)...so the DEVs changed it around to make the reload finished as soon as the clip is shoved into the gun.
While this helps players who were more used to games like CoD, I have yet to see a video of someone else doing it that is experienced with this game. The reload skill is almost useless if you know the timing perfectly on every weapon.
The HMG saves probably 1/4 of its reload time, the exact amount of time you save by skilling into rapid reload. |

The HMG reload skill is a complete waste of time and is a huge SP sink. If you skill it to 5 all you are doing is saving 2 seconds on a 8 seconds reload time. The reload of the HMG is the worse in the game, no other weapon has so many problems and is still considered by some to be a working weapon. Reload time is to long, rang of weapon is pathetic, and the bullet spread vs on target is atrocious. The fact you can save more SP by skilling into the AR than HMG and the AR is superior at current build to the HMG is just sad.
Vehicles have no weak points that I am aware of. If you use the swarm it locks onto the vehicle and not a specific point same as Drop ships. For forge I just point the weapon and once the sight turns red I fire, I have no time to worry about were to hit the vehicle just as long as it hits.
DPS for weapons I try not to worry about. The math is like trying to figure out what a woman is thinking, good luck figuring that out.
Stacking mods are a headache, so my rule is do not stack over 3 complex and you should be fine.
Nanite cluster is a the same stuff in Oreo's filling. I do not ask what it is, I am just thankful its there and it taste delicious. |

Yes, and get level 5 Amarr Sentinel for an even bigger bonus :P
The problem is that a 1/4 reduction means 6 second instead of 8 seconds...and then a 25% reduction from the skill is 4.5...instead of the standard 8 second reload, so maybe it is worth it after all x) |

A smart person knows things. An intelligent person understands things. And a wise person asks questions.
Meh, I might be good at the game, but that's just from experience. These questions are more related to things that you can't find out easily by playing the game, or looking at stats. |
