"They have style. Though they are slavers and pretentious bastards, they have style."
The words echoed for only a moment before being lost among the clanour of the market hall in the space station. One had to practically shout in places due to the volume of noise and activity. But what would one expect from the fourth moon of Jita IV, it was the busiest trading hub in all of New Eden.
The mercenary that had spoken earlier was just one of hundreds if not thousands just passing through. He was just discussing faction style with a mercenary he had worked with earlier. Asthetics weren't a major factor to him when picking out his gear but he appricaited good craftsmenship when he saw it.-á
The other mercenary smiled and left. He had buisness to attend to elsewhere and left Levet to his viewings.
Where he stood there was a market viewer as well as an expansive view port which gave way to the Jita system and the ships that came and went. He sighed and smiled as he leaned against the side of the view port, placing his hand high on the glass and looked out into the void to pass the time.
The man's appearance was of a warrior. He was a clone like most of the mercebaries these days. His blond hair was styled in a timeless fashion, short but not too clossely cropped. Levet wasn't in the navy or the marine core. Infact, he was more likely to join up with a pirate faction than one of the four "empires". His hieght of six feet and three inches (1.9 meters) was less noticeable with his leaning posture. The mercenary refrained from standing next to anyone so as to not stick out too much.
Taking a deep breath and exhaling audibly he pushed himself off slightly from the window and turned to take a shuttle to the battle barge. Levet had already purchased what he had needed for the upcoming contract.
---
Aboard the mercenary barge he heard a female A.I. Over the intercom, she said that the tram was out again and apologized for any inconvenience.
"jeeze, what a peice of junk."
Levet huffed as he recognized the voice of the A.I. because he had met the woman who it had been modled after. She was the wife of an important member of the Interbus corporation. Levet had met her a few times infact. When he first met her he hadn't known who she was married to so Levet was surprised when she told him after her husband tried to have him killed. Of course Levet would do the same if he had learned a mercenary had been sleeping with his wife for a week.
"women..."-áHe sighed, wondering where she was now, what she was up to, he shook his head and simply placed his hands behind his head as he walked casually through the halls of caldari vessel.
"what was her husband's name?" he though to himself outloud. "...Mat...no...skylar...no...scott...scotty? Yeah scotty. Puss filled scumbag."
Levet didn't know if he was actually a bad guy or not but he first tried to have the mercenary killed in a number of ways, though for an immortal that's a difficult task to accomplish. Instead now Scotty just diliberatly tries to mess up his proffesional life by seperating him from any of his fellow mercenaries when trying to carry out a contract.
Finally he reached the recreation room aboard the barge. It wasn't as used as one might think. Most mercebaries kept to their quarters and dealt with recreational activities in private though some saw a contract as fun. Iviin'yc skirata was one such person. That nova knife weilding lunatic kept Levet on edge, though he bever allowed himself to show it.
The mercenary plopped down on a comfortable sofa after grabbing a glass of tonic and lime with plenty of ice. -áPlacing his feet up on the table infront of him he sipped his drink and witched channels every so often.
