Lt Royal Subdreddit Test Alliance Please Ignore 1690	Posted - 2013.09.14 20:11:00 - [1] - Quote Seeing as the next gen consoles are just around the corner and many new games going to be released for current gen and next gen, I think it would be a good marketing idea to release the game to the high street market stores in a nice package. The Package. I know its a Free to Play title and releasing the content on a disc would be counter productive. What if Dust had a partnership or sponsorship with a headset company? Then the game could be released in stores with a headset (which is where the gameGÇÖs strengths lay in squad communications) and a possible redeemable Aurum card within the package itself. I believe this could be a step in the right direction to compete with the new releases on the shelves. Not only would this increase the community population but also get more people on communications; which is what a lot of players are missing out on. This has probably been proposed before; if so I apologize, but maybe it would remind CCP. Anyway let me know what your thoughts are on the subject.

I look forward to seeing the ad on TV, and this idea would actually be a pretty great thing. I'd buy a dust headset if it wasn't bad.

Only catch would be the disk would still download to the hard drive and the game would still need to update from there. This would give dust some much needed visibility to players. PSN doesnt even have a good search tool to find free to play games.
