Considering that, to the best of my knowledge, True Grit works on Faction Warfare and Planetary Conquest I'm guessing that one feature is an upgrade to FW and the other an upgrade to PC. Just spitballing here but my gut says I'm probably on target.

A vehicle that could carry a full squad... possibly with a turret... but for sure with window's the squad can actively shoot out of. Until this baseline is in a good place, they don't begin putting all the fun stuff back into place. Pilot dropsuits, new modules, and new turrets were mentioned as part of this fun stuff that is expected in the releases following 1.5 after the vehicle stock standards are working as expected.
