It has shown us which vets sink or swim. Which can adapt - or just die. It's been interesting to see whose become bad with there class choice and whose over-comed just from the simple change of everyone aiming better. A change that should of seen people being move clever - instead many teared up.
Not that I support AA - what kind of game can claim to be competitive and a part of a universe like EvE if you can have such an easy crutch? But I do enjoy watching vets turn bad in face from it - while others shine even more.
Hope you all enjoyed this adventure like I have.

It is different to aiming better by practicing hard, than to aiming better because the game is aiming for you. This post is completely irrelevant to the point.

Nice way to bluntly put it. But skill isn't aiming a lone - it's situational awareness.
Not that I don't agree with you. But the tears are more, " But MLT is killing me now! " None of the good players I know are saying that - yet the forum vets, are. |

And i imagine they going to carry on doing that to is more "aim-assist" and less "aimbot". Don't start having any parties yet. Why do I care? Even when AA was at it's worse I won all my 1v1 encounters. o.0
I'm just simply saying aiming isn't the only thing that makes you good, and a lot of people relied more on being rambo then tactical. Put everyone on even field - who wins? Obviously not some of the vets! :) |

For all we know, they're probably tweaking hit boxes and automatic weapon dispersion as well. Just from playing day to day at the start of uprising, you could tell they did some work to compensate for the aiming and hit detection issues. I feel like they tweaked hitbox honestly. People just go down to my HMG way too quickly even in PC. My bullets must be mostly landing.
I've been loving my heavysuit and HMG so much lately <3 |

Rushing through the battlefield causing chaos, is a genuine "tactic" and also pretty hard to do it right, specially in a game like Dust where you have to worry about losing to many suits. ... are you an idiot? Is this troll bait? Must be troll bait if you honestly believe rushing all your enemies at once is a valid 'tactic"
Not to say - again - that it can't be considered one. It's just.. the dumbest one you could possibly use. |

Rushing is a genuine tactic, catching the enemy unaware or unprepared.
Also known as ; Charge[/quote] ... so you're relying on there backs being turned or pre-occupied? That's not 'ramboing' as I put it and you responded too. That's called 'flanking' |

Sorry - but you are describing flanking. If you can run up to someones face and they're unprepared or unaware - somethings wrong. Ramboing means to rush enemies regardless if they're prepared or not BTW - which is what you're commenting on. Please, don't call out others on something you know nothing about. |

Draka Marintu wrote:Sofa I have to say your dead wrong a charge is where you "charge" your enemies head on and try to use the push to make them retreat or overwhelm them a flank is where you hit the enemy from the sides it often works best if it's a surprise attack a flank can often open up opportunity for a successful charge
The **** are you even talking about? The discussion wasn't about his idea of what charge is - rambo is rambo - it's running at your enemies with no thought. A charge is a planned move. You guys take one statement then blow it into 50 other things ignoring the original point.
And FYI - In WW2 troops 'charged' into station HMG's just to get mowed down. Everyone seems to think every tactic is relevant to swords and shields. Ramboing is ramobing - it's dumb and the furtherest thing from a real tactic. Charge is a coordinated strike with your team mate - rambo is not.
Next idiot please. |
