So lemme get this straight: by some accident or Michael Bolton levels of miscalculations, they managed to implement a mechanic that completely washed away any skill needed to play an FPS and think it's funny that FPS players were mad about it? |

" None of the good players I know are saying that - yet the forum vets, are. I didn't intend to get serious in a troll thread but you have to admit that the crazy short engagement times devalued the grind and completely screwed over certain classes. There wasn't any difference in fittings or noticeable effect in character customization or even the much needed buff to armor. Whatever the devs did with hit detection and aim assist obviously wasn't intentional. |

And i imagine they going to carry on doing that to is more "aim-assist" and less "aimbot". Don't start having any parties yet. For all we know, they're probably tweaking hit boxes and automatic weapon dispersion as well. Just from playing day to day at the start of uprising, you could tell they did some work to compensate for the aiming and hit detection issues. |

People just go down to my HMG way too quickly even in PC. My bullets must be mostly landing. I've been loving my heavysuit and HMG so much lately <3 Yeah, something was funky about hit boxes for a while. Even back in 1.2 I was landing quite a few direct hits with the MD that should have been just splash damage. It was blatantly obvious in 1.4 that you had to actively try to miss someone with any weapon because our hit boxes were as big as the broad side of a barn. Haven't played in the past couple of days, but I'm going to see what it's like after the current hot fix. |
