So one of the important thi gs about vechiles is the, they are assets useable by a team to help the infantry on the ground, throught outtime the infantry are effectively the most important asset on the field, its down to the vechiles to also help make them effective!!
Below are a few Ideas for modules or equipment that can be used to make vechile interplay easier.
Drop Beacon - Now at the moment the drop uplink is very effecient, and prehaps a little too much when it comes to assaulting a point, however I imagine CCP will do something about this, which will mean that dropships will become much more useful and valuable for troop transport.
The drop beacon is effectively a muon canno, a munon is a very small particle, it only exsists for a few millisecs before decaying into photons. What this means is that it can be used to covertly create a light beacon, it would only be visible at alltitudes of 200m above ground. What it allows is for a dropship to accuratly hover over a point and be confident the troops will land where they need to be.
This allows for HAHO/HALO jumps into enemy territory, and allows a LDS to become an effective static spawn point!!
Flight Stabiliser Module - Also for dropships, at the moment LALO/LANO are practically impossible, you aren't able to slow down and stop long enough to drop off your cargo, if you try a swarm launcher, forge gun, or even a flaylock round is enough to knock you about, often into the floor and nearby building!! The stabiliser module stop impacts from throwing you dropship around so much, but only for 30 secs or so, perfect for dropping of the troops and getting out of there!! |

Well.... the Flight Stabilizer Module would be extremely useful and welcomed by dropship pilots.
Hmm... some sort of supply depot module for Logi dropships? |

No, it would just give ammo. Wouldn't want to make actual supply depots useless now would we?

Sorry I need to explajn that a little better the drop beacon is infantry equipment, you can lay it down to tell a dropship where to drop his troops from a high altitude!!

Must say, the stabilisation module sounds good, not a pilot but have experienced the rocking as a gunner, so I for one would like that. The ammo supply as has been mentioned sounds good too. How about flares or an equvilant? As a counter measure to swarms, such that you shouldbe able to throw off one volley (or two if they're close enough to eachother) and attempt to get away? |
