I'm pretty convinced that weapons are balanced around when and how long you can do DPS for. Reloading becomes a penalty if you cannot kill a target before it is required. By letting you reload AND sprint, you take away the ability to let reloading speed become an aspect of a weapon that affects balance.

I'm so used to people stubbornly defending their initial thought in spite of new/other information, this reply caught me by surprise, I had to reread it. Anyway, I hope you can continue on your way in learning the unique usefulness of whatever weapon you have chosen to learn on. |
