Also next gen consoles aren't going to officially support SD tvs anymore so it's best to consider upgrading your tv as soon as possible. I haven't seen any new tvs in the past 5 years that aren't HD, even 720p is hard find now (everything is 1080p).

The truth is that there are still a lot of people out there that do not have HD tv's to support a 16:9 ratio. Myself i am surprised that dust is only 720 and not a 1080 game. As for the person with black bars on the HD tv i can't explain why they are there. I have a hd tv with a 16:9 ratio and i dont have black bars i get full screen coverage for the game.
