I said I would be happy to sell a good portion of my holdings (which I have and continue to do).
that's where the conversation went south..
other high ranking officers believed that I should simply 'GIVE' my land to them.. abandon the districts we worked so hard to attain over time, in exchange for....nothing
sorry, but I would rather weave myself a straw hat and plow the fields of my lands and generate a pile of ISK than simply abandon districts.
the second someone buys a district from me, It decreases my revenue. I'm fine with that, but apparently that wasn't good enough for some, and I left the meeting.
over the next few days attacks became more and more sporadic, and corps began leaving the FEC, while others suffered from activity drops due to final Fantasy and who knows what other games (dust just isn't that good :( )
so to my knowledge I don't think there's been any 'official' end to the war (although there should be) Yeah you should totally give up a majority of your land for free just because...lol. Who in the Hell thought you would agree to that? Sheesh, at least your selling the land.
Yeah "selling" the land. I don't count it as a sale if they take it back 2 weeks later. |

Yeah. I remember when I went 28-3 with a proto scout thy I randomly speced into. Ahh good times. Ppl need to realize that in this game you need to be fun to have fun. Strive for ISK and SP and you'll get bored quickly. Don't use chat channels or join a corp and you'll also be bored quickly. |
