Ok i have read a few threads regarding the new match making system being unbalanced and how contracts should be seperated out but im not going to broach that here as its already being widely discussed else where. Our corp is 3 and a bit months old and we have been on the end of our fair share of pubstompings in our time in New Eden. We didnt see this as a bad thing as if forced us to become more organised and focus spending our SP wisely into our skill trees. It also allowed us to observe the top corp players in action and learn from how they played in each battle. As time has gone on we have grown from 2 members to almost 100 with new mercs now applying direct to us instead of us having to recruit them. Being pubstomped can be frustrating but i also see that it is a new mercs right off passage into the galaxy of new eden use these times to improve and move forward and one day like us now you will be pubstomping the new guys and bringing it to the field of battle. So for all you guys out there who are getting stomped dont get nerd rage look at the big picture being ragged by protos is part of this game suck it up and become one of them |

TL:DR
I was new once... and got stomped by people with more time invested than me.
Now that I have some time invested, I get to stomp on newer players myself.
IE. This game sucks....
No really, everything about it sucks.
But I guess sometimes, people need a game that allows them to feel special.
As for me, I'll stick to games that don't require a ******** amount of time invested before you can start competing.
And troll the forums of games that are counterproductive to a HEALTHY community of players.
BTW, what is this fascination of people like Dust Fanboys, who think that its a bad thing to be able to pick up a game and keep up almost immediately upon entering that world?
What is your fascination with a time investment gap?

That's pretty much what it comes down to.
And as far as I'm concerned its a dumb point of view you people have on the..
"I have more time invested so I should win more"
Argument.
It typically takes me 1/10 the amount of time it takes other people to "Master" a game. And according to EvE/Dust players.... That's a bad thing apparently. So games should be more like EvE and hold me back with arbitrary ****...so that you can feel special. |

Oh look !! a Free To Play game !! lets try it then (After few matches) This game sucks, i can't believe i just wasted a couple of hours downloading this crap, i going to delete the game and never tried again.
You honestly believe people is going to think ;
I suck at this game, i going to spend the next 6 months trying to get better at it. In the meantime i going to bend over and let people kill me, over, and over again.. because i love getting abuse by other players. |
