So I got spawned into a domination match last night with just my squad against 2 snipers.
I could have said, "screw this" and quit, instead, I saw it as a research opportunity and my squad and I proceeded to figure out if we could deduce some information about how the game would pay us out.
We only got 2 kills and suffered 2-3 losses.
I timed how long the match was. We were in battle for about 11 minutes. I only got one +25 from an uplink spawn from my squad mate.
I made about 199k isk. This pretty evenly comes to 300 isk/ sec.
The two highest paid players on the team got 240k isk, while remaining 4 of us got 199-200k each.
So a few theories/data points (not 100% confirmed) that are close to the 'war and profit' devblog:
-There is a base amount each players gets for time spent in match.
-There is a modifier based on winning that boosts your isk/second (we think its +50% to +100%).
-I don't know how 'loot-isk' is exactly determined. Is it from what your team kills, or from both team's losses?
-Performance pay (pay after base pay) very obviously is directly proportional to your WP earnings in the team.
-Unless destroyed installations counted for isk, the only thing my team killed was a LAV, and 2 sniper/scout dropsuits.
-IOW we probably destroyed less than 100k worth of goods, lost 100k-150k of our own, but got 80k-100k back.
So if you can LOSE in a match, know exactly how long you were in it, and you get no WP in the match, let us know how much isk/sec you get in it.
Once we know the base isk/sec, you can start to figure out the way the performance pay works. |

You can get 60-100k just sitting in MCC! I spawned into a game with 20 seconds left on the clock and got 200k. Dropped one link under MCC! The mechanics are broken! You will never figure out an actual pay per minute scale! |
