Come on now CCP is been 3 months now.
Blues are avoiding the topic like the plauge, some are pretending the problem doesnt exsist.
1.5 will be pointless without a fix to large turret rendering since you cant balance around being blind (hell fixing it would solve alot of problems as it is)
Thread after thread get made about the issue in GD and bug reports and it all goes ignored
well not this time
all we want... is a damn blue post confirming that yes its a huge problem, and yes its being fixed for 1.5.
sign if you want this fixed and if you want a blue post confirming that its a huge damn problem and its being worked on.
because so far we havnt heard a peep and each and every single patch makes the problems worse rather then better. |

what can i say, after making 10+ threads about the issue and paticipating in about 30 more..... all without a dev post...

those are the only two awknowledgements of rendering issues.
inside teh threads you can find a few more blue posts basically stating "we dont know what your talking about" and "woprking as intended"

ive definatly been hit by a railgun without recieving damage
you DO get hit markers when this happens.
out of respect i retreated instead of shooting back because i know the glitch continues and he wouldnt of been able to damage me for a bit |

i think the problem is that they banked too much on improving the graphics, and the maps and art assets are now dependant on the limited draw distance to function.
so the only way to fix would be to scap all the graphics improvements AND new maps.
the problem is that the blues wont say anything on the matter. so we dont know how much of that is true. |

gamers testing thigns is a terrible idea.
i prefer that testers test things.
the problem most their testing is regulated to testing the core interaction with sony and its adherance to their contract.
they dont have a large in house testing devision for game mechanics. that part is pretty much left up to theory crafting and live testing/datamining |
