It's getting harder and harder to enjoy this game as each day passes since 1.4 released. I had high hopes for Null's matchmaking adjustments, sadly that hope was misplaced.
One unbalanced match after another is all I encounter, squads vs no squads, skilled squads vs unskilled squads etc etc. Ugh, I am about to give up on the game. 
All CCP had to do was introduce squad-free modes to 98% balance the game 
When will you realize that squad-free is the way to go CCP... WHEN!?!  |

It's one component that CCP can't fix actually. It's the user. The user? Yes, the user, no Flynn.
The only thing I can think of is more comms on mic just so the blueberry can know what to do. People just don't work together and battlefield awareness can be little to none.
Shrugs. I really don't have any other ideas. I just know the problem is with the one who wields the controls, not the one who develops the game. |

I'm not having any of these problems. Even in a squad it's pretty even. Could be you have people in your squad with varying SP, WP? |

As someone who claimed in orevious thread to only run solo in ambush you really dont get the point of a TEAMbased shooter. First you cry about HAVs ruining your game now its teamwork you want to nerf

Public matches traditionally have always been for casual and solo players, practically every FPS game i play is like that. CCP obsession with making everyone join a Corp and Squad up in every battle, is going to be the outdoing of this game.

Blueberries are stupid, you wonder why people go in squads? bet half the people that use proto in pubs is to make up for the blueberries, for that i don't blame them.

Huh. I go solo/squadding 35/65 percent. Whichever I'm currently doing, I see way less stomps. On the contrary, I've participated in a large amount of really even matches, with both MCCs having just a tiny sliver of health left, or one side cloning out the other by the smallest margin possible.
Stomps do of course still crop up from time to time, but these points are important in that regard:
- No amount of matchmaking will ever erradicate stomps completely. There will always be matches where one side gets the upper hand.
- It has still been only a bit more than a week since the new matchmaking was deployed. Tweaking its parameters is obviously an ongoing thing.
- The new maps provide more opportunity for comeback tactics than the old ones. Even a humble, solo scout such as I can turn a match around by creating diversions or good uplink deployments. |

Does Battlefield have a No Squad mode? If the answer is still now to that question, then take a seat.
People like to call this new gameplay "Cod-like". However, it is more accurate to compare it to Battlefield. |

Teamwork is OP. Let's nerf teamwork. I hate it when I get outmatched by teamwork. I should be able to do EVERYTHING on my own without relying on my team. 
On a serious note, if you don't like squads, go play a single player game. No one cares that you get stomped by squads. If you don't feel like squading up and coordinating, sucks for you. You will continue to get stomped and not a single person will care when you come and whine and threaten to quit. There's this motto thrown around the forums and this is a great time to pass it along: Harden the **** up. |
