so i had extra SP and im on the zn nova knives but i really dont know what to customize on my scout ..? any help ? or tell me whats ur suit like . |

I have two fittings I been using this build for my NK's. Been running the second more since it is cheaper and I get more use out of my SMG's to be honest this patch. I used the Adv Minmatar Scout racial suit for both.
(1)
Highs: 2x Complex Shield Extenders
Lows: Enhanced CPU Upgrade, Enhanced Cardiac Regulator
Weapon: Ishokone Nova Knives, Std SMG
Equipment: A-45 Quantum Active Scanner
Grenades: Std Locus Grenades
(2)
Highs: Basic Shield Extender, Militia Shield Recharger
Lows: 2x Enhanced Kinetic Catalizers
Weapons: ZN-28 Nova Knives, M512-A Submachine Gun
Equipment: A-45 Quantum Active Scanner

if you want just a nova knife operator...
1.) all high slots should be Shield Extenders (mimitar scout), or place range amp/precision if your (Gallente scout)
2.)low powered slots- Shield Regulator, and Cardiac regulator (mimitar scout.) use Armor Repair or reactive plates/ and cardiac regulator.
3.) Nova Knifes, and a Sidearm (whatever you want/ use the Six kin SMG normally).
4.) No grenades (waste of cpu/pg useage)
5.) Equipment: Remote Explosives... (most people notice you not coming at them because you have knifes will give chase.. plant remote explosives to spring a trap on them.
this is assuming your at least level 3 with scount suit operations.
the Nova knifes are a Smart mans weapon... don't expect to be badass with them until you learn to use them like a ghost. |

I've been messing with a few fits lately but it all depends on the maps an the team.
If you have a good team play offensive an attack the wounded an distracted.
If you have a bad team, nothing you do offensively will help, they will be in tight groups an probably have minimal snipers.
If you solo a match jump in a squad an use that scanner or links.
If you jump in a match an there's no squads, look out cuz that means you probably have a dumb team.
First to be a good knifer you need DAMAGE! An you have to know how to do the math to know how much damage you do an how much your average enemy suits HP is.

If you ask people in your corp that have a lot of sp find out their best HP setups an use it as a guide.
Advance suits maybe 4-600 HP , proto 700/ 900 heavies or logies could be around 1200 so this means you now know how to kill.
I don't need to charge strike every suit but with the new armor buff I should always charge hit heavies even tho sometimes in a jam I don't have to cuz I have the 25% minmatar suit bonus an pro 4 on blades I can kill most without charging.
Here's just a example of damage
Pro 4 an proto suit with charge is 1,120,-á
560 uncharged 280 a blade
Pro 5 is 287 per blade 575 both blades and 1150 charged-á
Put a smg an a complex dam mod for the knives an you can strike a charged hit with pro five at-á1,265
Pro 4 an complex mod is-á1,232
So unless you have already went pro 5 an we don't need pro five for the new skills I'd just leave it at 4
Unless ur gallente then you need pro 5 an a dam mod to even come close to these numbers

Get to level 3 racial minmatar scout then max the knife proficiency it's cheaper then getting lv 4/5 in the suit for damage.
Get profile dampening to 5 an learn how to do the math to get it under 28 db with a mod.
Use a scanner at least the adv quantum.
Use a smg shield, precision mod, or damage sidearm mod, if you use smg an knives one s.a.d.m will affect both weapons till you get your sp up, be sneaky an you ll do fine even with low hp |
