I was just curious to know if there was a penalty for committing suicide, besides losing the suit I'm in?
Sometime I will suicide if I know I'm going to die anyway. Why give em the satisfaction?
Also I do it to jump from place to place to save on vehicle costs and time!
Anyone know for SURE?
Im kind of wondering if that why I have'nt gotten any salvage for a LONG time, yet I make 400k-600k a match? |

Pretty much this....if your K/D declines, you're automatically seen as less of a man by everyone....could even have real world side effects bro.

In real life your K/D ration matters BIG TIME! It pretty much determines success or failure in most aspects of life. |

KDR is a joke! Remember gorilla? 300+ kills in one match. That list goes on and on! KDR dont mean ANYTHING!
Maybe that's why you guys are broke? To worried about losing proto suits. I pulling 400k-800k a match with zero kills 3suicides!

I remember a topic a while back talking about some preacher who said killing people in a video game was a sin just like killing people in real life. So I guess you going to hell yo. Suicide is a mortal sin. |

Every other game has some sort of penalty (takes longer to get back in the game, negative points, etc...), but Dust doesn't care.
I used this to my advantage when I had a mass driver. They'd get a kill assist, and half the time I'd still get a kill XD |

I use lasers, killed myself plenty of times.
I'm terrible with my mass driver, killed my self plenty of times.
I am often equipped with remote explosives, killed myself plenty of times.
Used to be a horrible pilot, killed myself and others plenty of times
Smoke/drink to much to enable my dampeners, killed myself plenty of times.
And pfft KDR, while on the recieving end of a pub stomp, sometimes going 10/10 in free suits is the best way to get them to back off. |
