First is there an ETA on getting this fixed?
In case you don't know the TeamBar glitch is when you form a squad go into a game, and up to half your squad gets left behind, usually give them a team bar even though the are still in their quarters.
What I have learned after dealing with this glitch all week, and playing all day yesterday, is that this glitch almost always only happens when you first form your squad. If u form a squad of six and go into a battle then back out when someone inevitably gets the team bar glitch, have the glitched ppl do a quick relog (Goto options log out and pick the character again) then reform the squad with the same ppl. The glitch will sometimes happen a 2nd time, but once you get into a game without a problem. As long as you keep the same group of players in your squad I find that you don't get glitched again until your squad changes (ie someone leaves, and you replace them)
I played with the same squad for 4 hours without any problems after the initial TeamBar Glitch when the squad was first formed. The moment someone left and we replaced him we got the glitch. All week this same pattern has repeated itself.
You may be able to continue to play glitch free if you don't replace a lost member and just lock the squad. I will test this today.
I hope maybe this will help the dev's find the problem and fix it, because It's sad it has been over a week and the most annoying glitch of 1.4 still hasn't been fixed. |

I agree that this may be a contributing factor. The more people we add to a squad, or god forbid we try and queue sync, the higher the chanced of the bug coming up. I am still convinced that some people are hitting the circle button and not admitting it or just are not aware of it. We have starting launching for battle with everyone putting their controller down and it does help. It's weird that when al goes right we feel like we've won something and haven't even entered the battle yet. 
CCP - Why is the circle button cancel on the battle finder? For every other screen it closes the window. For Battle Finder, it cancels the game. It should be X to cancel. Or triangle. Or square. Literally, any other button but circle. |

I agree with OPs observations.
Many people I play with have so many different theories about how to avoid it it's verging on the ridiculous.
Soon people will have lucky underwear that prevents squad drops.
but it does seem that once you have a stable squad it stays stable.
Oh, I should add.
Why hasn't this been fixed. Something similar happened back in the beta and it was fixed.
this is by far the most annoying thing in the game. |

It reminds me of the pre chrome days when there were several audio verification steps we had to go thru to get into battle.
SL- "Waiting for deployment"
Squad- "yep"
SL-"black screen"
Squad-"yep"
-2 minutes later-
SL-"I heard the tone"
Squad-"tone confirmed"
SL-"come on warbarge!"
Squad-"dammit, games already started"
SL-"fittings?"
Sm1-"good"
Sm2-"no! All mine are invalid"
SL-" ok, everyone back out, sm2 reset, we'll wait"
-15 minutes later-
Sm2-"back"

This glitch is the thing killing dust for me at the moment. Every time it happens I think to myself "why bother". |
