Charron is the guy that brings the dead to hell on his boat in greek mithology. It would make sense since the mcc pretty much brings us to hell.

Well, just because the Caldari named all of their flying machines after birds doesn't mean they'd name all their ground based things off of birds as well, unless they're going to be "Penguin," "Ostrich," "Emu," "Kiwi," etc. Of course, they did name their jump freighter after the Rhea, but I guess you could always argue that they went out of form and named it after the Greek Goddess/Titan and not the bird.

Cestus, is derived I guess from the old boxing gloves during Ancient times (Romans and such). It's the same as a normal boxing glove except it's just leather wrapped around your hand. Sometimes they added blades or metal sheets at the knuckles so it could be used as a weapon.
Atleast this is what I remember from my Latin classes! |

no u are right incubus is a male demon and they did seduce ladies.
but i found that "incubo" in latin means to lay upon and it is myth that repeated "relations" with it would casuse illness or death.... sounds about right cause normally the deadliest spot to be is under an incubus dropship. |

oddly enough the names don't seem to have much corelation with their races maybe there more related to vehicle class or just names that sound cool.
but i don't want names that sound cool. I want names with a meaning and gives insight to what that vehicle is. |
