Micro corrections with the mouse still not right. But it looks intentional to me, to stop mouse users from being to "accurate", even if the DS3 users have an aim-assist that is 100% accurate.
aim assist doesn't help with sniping, it might cause lag, but i'm not sure. |

I am sure that it doesn't add bullet magnets or adjust my shots any though I know it doesn't, i was trying to explain why aiming with the sniper rifle doesn't feels right. To elaborate a bit ; Try to move your mouse Pointer to the "eyes" of this emote ; You'll see that you can do Micro adjustments with ease, then try to do the same thing with the sniper rifle in the game, you will clearly see the difference. Was it ever not like this? DS3 or Kb/M. I was having this problem on both. I am, and have been for the last 15 years, a high-sensitivity sniper. It is precisely because of that issue in many games. It is easier to hit a moving target than one that is standing still.
yep it's not easy with either medium, to snipe in dust you need to refine combination of movement prediction/ and extremely subtle movements.
if the target is running you need to move the cursor to where the target will be and let him walk into it, it's why walking like a drunken sailor counters snipers so easily.
it's funny how aim assist was added to fix the same issue for ar users, but snipers still need to deal with it.
