I have enjoyed CEOPyrex Kicking Dust series for some time now (kudos to him for an excellent show  ), especially his coverage of the 1.4 launch stands out. I think his initial reaction reflects what many felt during the first patch day, and its great to see the transition (read: adaptation) he makes.

I still feel that way because scout suits are still ******* broken. He switches over to AUR suits and everything fine, good on him, im not spending money on this broken as **** game though. |

Sorry you feel that way, although I don't think AUR items have anything to do with it?
They get killed as easily as the rest.
I have a blast in 1.4, even if I did die more in the beginning. I'm adapting as we speak.
That being said, I think CCP have some tuning to do. A lot changed in 1.4, and I don't think all consequences were anticipated.
In my opinion, TTK should be increased slightly, and speed tanking should be a viable option if you "really speed tank" (not just run a scout suite). How they do this is up to CCP.

Nope I don't think ccp should make better speed tanks but is just my opinion. Just like ppl say aim assit is bad for dust. They are entitle to their opinion but doesn't mean I have to lile it. |

I watch his videos and I'm glad that he is having a good time
the game is better
but the cold hard truth is that if you haven't specd into assault weapons or suits like me, you really are at quite a disadvantage.
Notice how after his initial video all he started running was tanked out assault suits.
Its good but its boring. I don't want the best fit to just be stacking as much EHP as you can. |
