CCP, I have bought the Allotek Industries' Complete Infantry Pack to support Dust in anyway I can, to only come across like many other the item's was not worth the value of 100$.
So I'm going to ask CCP, can we merc that bought this allotek pack get one free active omega 30 day booster or a unique BPO like a 'Black Eagle' Assault Rifle BPO.
Customer appreciation ccp, show me you know it. |

Okay maybe I said in a wrong way.
CCP need to add some kind of customer appreciation / loyalty programs for players that spent a lots of AUR in game to be rewarded for supporting Dust, also it will also show CCP care for the active paying customer.
For Example: CCP will reward customer for every 200,000 Aur spent in game. IF I spent 700,000 Aur, CCP will reward me with 3 unique items.

Something like a rewards credit cards, the more you spent the more you get reward. It encourage and motivate to spent and used the card more.
That the other point, I don't feel encourage or motivate to spend anymore money in dust, every since I hit 2X.X million skill point. I also feel the money I spent to support Dust end up back lashing at me, as I see no gratitude only mockery. |

Why does every that has to do with money is pay to win. Think guys like you hide behind the pay to win wall and not pay for anything in a game that free.

is the quafe or state suits help you win? NO
I don't see anyone winning with any of them.
You get 10 Quafe suits for the close beta event and 50 for buying the Fanfest HD livestream (20$). Now did ccp just did a pay to win? I don't see no one QQing, so NO |

Maken Tosch wrote:The closest thing to any loyalty program that CCP has ever offered is free access to an exclusive station that can only be accessed by players who have been around for ten years.
TEN YEARS!!!!! Just for access to a station.
But if you're one of those folks who have never missed a billing since 2003 for Eve Online, like those four guys did in Fanfest 2013, then you were awarded a collector edition Nvidia graphics card known as The Titan with a signed sketch of one of the four titans of Eve Online.
But that was it. I don't recall CCP every having a loyalty program beyond that. And just because other companies do it that doesn't mean CCP is obligated to do so. Other companies do it because they can financially support it. I don't know about CCP. true to that.
Only mean (for me) no reason to give ccp anymore money, I just don't feel motivate anymore. I don't know why, I just feel the 700+$ I put in dust just mean nothing now.
It like I can't love that stepchild anymore when the mother don't give me any. |

Maken Tosch wrote:By the way, CCP has been much appreciative with the customers. If you have problems with the merc pack items such as... 1. Unable to access what you bought. 2. Items not showing in your hangar after spending AUR. etc. then you can contact CCP via the petition system at www.dust514.com/support. They can follow up fairly quick I can assure you. You do realize you can SEE the items before purchasing them, right? You can even look up their stats. If you didn't do that before purchasing, the fault is on you.
don't know why guys keep telling me this.
You know when you buy something even know everything about it and once you have it, it just kick in to you "wtf all you doing buying ****" again" that feeling. |

Jathniel wrote:For Dust to be pay-to-win, there has to be clear and definite advantages to your gameplay that money gets for you, that playing free does not.
There is a disconnect between how valuable CCP thinks its items and equipment are, and what we know it to be. CCP dramatically overestimates how valuable its consumables are. To most of us, a fitting, and everything on it is like toilet paper.
Pretty much all of us look at the AURUM shop and laugh our asses off, because we know it's idiotic to spend the amount of money that CCP requests for consumable items. Prices need to come down by like 70-90% before people even consider dropping a nickle here or a dime here for the crap consumables. Only the blueprints have real value because they stay with you.
STD level blueprints are hardly pay-to-win. The OP's point stands, we have no incentive to buy any of this useless crap, and the ones that do should be rewarded. PlayStation store says, "Thank you for your purchase." Why doesn't Dust? +1 This is especially true for high SP player, no real point of buying overpriced aurum items after maxing out all the skill you need for a class.
I do wish the dust market say thank you. |

lithkul devant wrote:Well....lets see what to say about this topic. People who pay for the game and pay to support the game should be given different advantages or different things the allow them to have a better or easier time of things. I think that for each 50 dollars spent should be access to more cosmetic suits ones that look really bad ass to walk around in, even if they don't do much. Possibly give rewards based on how the recruiter rewards occur, nothing insanely powerful, but powerful enough or namesake enough that people know you donate to the game. Maybe even instead of all this, paying customers get to vote on and choose which updates/items CCP works on next to update. Essentially making them voting members of the community and have the price tag to get to be able to vote even the cheapest package on the game. In a lot of games though, vip status is given to those who donate over a certain amount, so possibly Dust could have a VIP mode, that gives you a 25% or X% when you die you will not loose X amount of items or vehicle parts and that you get a better scavenging table to loot from or something like that. Free players will always complain that doing anything is paying to win, however, if they aren't willing to even pay five dollars to support the game their opinnion really doesn't matter, they are just a leech off of everyone else's generousity.
+1 VIP program sound like an awesome idea and especially the idea of get better scavenged loot, maybe a high chance of loot to. |

Crow Splat wrote:So you bought a product.that you knew was not something you really wanted just so you could support CCP. That's cool.
Now you want CCP to give you free stuff because of your generosity. Sounds less like loyalty and more llike fishing for free or special unique snowflake gear.
If you were a loyal customer then you would buy CCP's products and be happy that they keep.the servers on. Anything that they give out on top of that is icing on the cake.
It hard to stay a loyal customer when you put so much in a game you love yet it keep doin you wrong.
The servers may just go down in three year if this keep up, as I don't meet a lot of player that put money in this game anymore. |

I deal with customer appreciation everyday. To the point where my team has been recognized as exceptional in both our city and our company. I can tell you that the way to get free stuff from a company is NOT to buy something and then tell the store that they should give you free stuff because you just bought their crap product... At least I wouldn't give you free stuff. I would probably tell you know and then have a laugh about you with one of my regulars next time I give them a good deal.
sorry, was not talking about you.
What I'm trying to say is if CCP keep this up with all this over priced items, I don't see a lot of player buying anything in the future. I do hope CCP do add something that encourage and reward player to used Aur in the near future.
Also I don't believe anything anyone say what they do for a living on the internet, as most of the time it a lie. Not trying to offend you or anything, just saying. |
