CCP has not heard our cries on our problems. For heavies its lack of suits, lack of heavy weapons. It is also the poor job the HMG does, from poor range to bullets hitting everything but there intended target. The heavy in general is out classed and is a joke currently on the battlefield.
For the Scout the same is for you, your suits lack any chance of survivability in today's combat environment. You lack the necessary power and speed to be proficient in your class. Lack of suit choices also limit your choices of play style as well. The scout is a paper doll playing in a glass factory.
I am calling all scouts and heavies to go on strike. I ask that you play Dust but refuse to use the Heavy or Scout class in general. Run BPO starter fits and use the weapon of your choice. If you feel that you have not been given a voice I ask that you sign this petition that you will not use a heavy or scout until CCP fixes the problem.
Let them see the numbers drop on these classes. If you feel the Heavy or the Scout needs to be fixed and given a proper role please sign your name. If you feel the suit is fine then please do not leave your name.
Until CCP acknowledges that the scout and the Heavy have problems I ask that you boycott the use of these class's and run another class or BPO starter fit. Once CCP sees that only Logi and Assault is being used they may get the point.

TY Capt Obvious. I know there is past forums, but apparently CCP was not paying attention. So I am renewing the effort. Like all protest it takes more than one sit in to get you point across. Sometimes you have to plan marches , sit ins, boycotts, and speak your point until your voice cracks and your legs buckle under the pressure but you will not yield, you will stay strong. Let our voices unite as one and that we shall overcome. |

I cant speak for Scouts. I ask scouts to join heavies in protest because I feel we share a common goal. That is goal is better equipment that better suits our roles.
I as a heavy would love to see the HMG with at least a 20M increase. At least another racial suit also a suit bonus that is actually beneficial. I would like to see a 5% damage resistant per level. Something that would allow the heavy to play its role and the ability to do it job. |

Now if CCP were to say Scouts are fine and their not making ANY changes to it at all. THEN I would go on strike.
I can only ask that you voice your opinion. But the best way to get a point across is thru unity. Its your choice to do as you wish but if you want change you must be the change you want. |

Your description of the HMG is GREATLY exaggerated, which leads me to believe the problem lies more with someone's gun game. By means though, please do stop playing your heavy. One less whiny, entitled Heavy player in the game can only be a good thing. I will however agree with scouts having a hard time at the moment. I don't know how you fix it, but they do need some help.
If you have been here as long as I have then you would know that there is a problem with heavies. For one we have only one racial suit, the next obvious is the racial bonus. But all this could be possibly fixed if new racial suits were released. Also if you think your gun game is great as it is I will take you 1 on 1 and we will see who is the best. I do not have hard feeling to other heavies but once you think you are superior is the day I dig your grave. |

How will you be digging my grave if your rounds are hitting everything but their intended target? That means I only need only a few of mine to hit you. I suppose you could shoot at an object nearby and those rounds that miss your intended target may decide to hit me. You have come on these forums to make a silly argument, and your answer to my negative opinion of said argument is to challenge me to a 1v1? How will this 1v1 work. Will we HMG at 30 paces? No, that would take forever according to most of our "heavy" players. Better make it 20 paces. What about the other 30 players I assume will be in the match? Will we be making a gentlemen's agreement to ignore the fact that we are playing in a "team based" game? I think more than a few of your fellow corp-mates can vouch for me considering D-Uni is one of your largest providers of recruits. Heavy suits and HMG's reside somewhere in the middle of the Dust food chain. That is a fine place to be. Be thankful that it is so easy to set yourself apart as being good when you aren't considered OP.
No i will show how under powered and out classed the heavy is. I will take my assault Dren BPO with Gek and I will run circles around. You will not even get close enough before I drop you over and over again. So if you think an assault suit is supposed to be better at CQC than you need to rethink your roles on a heavy. If I run into you I will send you a reminder message after the match of how many times we met and which one of us walked away. |
