If it isnt officer, leave it in your corp hanger or sell it - once we have the option. Officer weapons will be worth trading but selling event rewards for aurum sets a bad precedent not only does it devalue the rewards, but if it sells well CCP may well think "Well the only way to get this item was to do X challenge/event but its selling well for AURUM." which could lead to "Well the only way to get this item is to find it randomly as salvage, I wonder if it will sell well for AURUM." That is my fear devaluing rewards could potentially lead to the sale of officer weapons and then when we do get a player market the people who have stockpiled certain items could discover that they aren't worth as much as they thought because people have bought AUR ones instead.
Again, CCP is very good with balancing an economy in a game. Colleges study EVE because it has the most robust, thriving economy. Like ever.
Whatever happens with trading and isk transfers between EVE and Dust, it will be rocky at first but they will handle it, i promise you |

When the player economy is released those corps with that kind of ISK, could really mess with the market; let alone the AURUM market!
Dust isk is irrelevant. Once EVE opens up, the floodgates are opening for lack of a better term.
For instance....having a single system in EVE is basically 50 bil a month if im not mistaken.
You think we have money......we dont. |

Thats sounds like the 2 guys who bought practically the entire grain market a few years back, they bought so much grain, th at they litterally couldn't sell it, they owned such a large stake, that if the sold any, it instantly lost value and they could only sell it a 2p a kg, even when the current price on the market was -ú2 a kg, they had to wait for the market to expand around them, and they lost tonnes of money in the end!!
Economic warfare is a huge part of PVP in EVE, or at least it can be.
Dust is a skeleton right now, CCP is still fleshing this stuff out. e.g. they just got hit detection in a good spot |
