think vampire
Fires a laser beam that steals enemy Shield points and adds them to your own. Does no damage to armor.
Basically a reverse Shield Transfer. Great on heavies, allows them to tank longer in a group but requires the group for support (finishing off Armor).
Transfers at half the damage rate of a laser rifle because it's adding that to your Shield. No heat build up, so does not become more efficient during use.
What's do you thinks? |

Alternatively a gun that fires batches of Nanites to deconstruct enemy armor (Underneath their shields)
Fire off a batch, they swarm a target for few seconds, fly back and start building it onto your armor.
Then you can fire another. |

Really not sure. I guess that would depend on how powerful it was but it could operate on battery cells for ammo that run out after a bit.
The nanite one could have a limited number of shots as easy 'swarm' is comprised of cheap disposable nano-dudes |

How about a shield repair tool, or a high slot shield repair active module. Transfer shield to another players, give your shield to another player. |

Why not both?
I think instead of a tool, this should be a light weapon.
The armor repair tool does not detract from anyone's armor, so it's good for an equipment slot.
There could be a light weapon slot, personal shield transfer that you lock onto friendlies with to give them your shield so more people than Logis could use them |
