Make it either have a ton of CPU/PG to wield it or have it as only a primary (no secondary allowed) just the sword. Balanced. |

If you don't take the full hit, you can keep going (unless you're a Scout).
Nova Sword would be single swing (or two) with higher damage at the cost of attack speed. Nova Greatsword would be the AV melee option. Because LOLCHOPTANKINHALF. Also, it would be a Light Weapon instead of Sidearm. |

CCP you said there would be assassins and the option to cloak (or be unseen - logi). DUST still does not support the ability to assassinate players and get away as a possible playing style. The Nova knifes are more of a back up then a useable front weapon. People are sniping for assassination, SO lets make some active 15sec cloak or something so I can assassinate a guy and run away to assassinate another!

Swords could do more damage per slash, but strike slower and only once or twice instead of the repeated slashes you get with Knives. |

I think there gonna have a sprint charge an a fittin optimization , so get ready bro an save that sp , I would assume we ll need at least proficiency 4/5 to unlock what they have coming, so I should have 1.5 million saved by the end of this weeks cap, an I ll have hopefully close to 3 million by the patch. wow, I have never been killed by nova knifes. I have rarely seen it ingame.
What do you think of my nova sword and active cloak idea? I think the cloak should have a timer like 15secs not perma cloak. Or a perma cloak that is still kinda visible at close range like halo.
Anyway, I wish assassination style combat was a more playable option. |
