On my heavy I was wonder what you guys though about using shield regulators. I run 2 complex plates and a complex repairer and I was thinking of changing a plate to a regulator. What do you think, is it worth it? Should i stay with the plates? Also I heard some people say the regulator dosent change the delay if all your shields are taken out, is this true? |

The regulator reduces both the fully and partially depleted delay. I would advice against your idea of using one in your heavy suit.
What makes your shield take so long to get back to full is more the sheer amount of shield HP in the heavy suit than the delay, so you would be better putting a shield recharger or, even better, a basic energizer in the high slot if you can spare a high slot. Go for it if you don't use complex damage modifiers yet, or if you otherwise think it's worth it. |

Depends on the suit. I wouldn't put any low slot shield mod on an armor bonus suit because what would be the point. If the suit has shield bonuses then I wouldn't put any armor mods on it. The suit should determine the fit. Use your bonuses to your advantage, don't waste what little advantage the suit gives you by putting the wrong mods on a suit. Play the strengths that the suit gives you and that you paid for with blood, sweat and tears. |

It's an Amarr Heavy Suit and he is clearly armor tanking with all lows dedicated to plates and repairers, complex ones while we are at it. |
