A gauss rifle is another name for a coilgun.

It uses magnetics to project an object.
In terms of Dust, it will be some sort of Caldari weapon that we shouldn't expect soon. |

CCP is adding new weapons in 1.5 so I wouldnt be to quick to give up hope |

Well, there's no info about the Gauss Rifle coming to Dust SOONtm, and the Combat Rifle was listed in a killfeed in the Uprising trailer. Also, since Wolfman confirmed it first, there has to be a pistol in the mix (hopefully the Ion Pistol), otherwise that would be pretty lame. |

No, Wolfman saying something about new weapons, and no new pistol shows up. But the Gauss RIfle is automatically lame, cuz' it's Caldari. |
