The small rail gun has to be the worst weapon in dust. It cant AV it cant AI and it can barely anti structure.
It has always sucked since time began.
Other weapons have had their day in the sun, Will the small rail gun ever get its?
In fact ever since the small missile turrets got its nerf in cromo i rarely see anyone use small blaster turrets, and I never ever see the small railgun used.
Will we see it get some sort of buff or changes in the future?
Will any new small turrets be introduced? like a laser or something. Right now the only useful small turrets are the missiles. |

Well I've actually noticed it becoming far more stable in terms of accuracy since 1.4 dropped. |

Yeah but its accuracy was crap, you where still far better off with the missile turret. |

its not completely useless, an assault dropship fitted with all railguns makes one heck of an air to air ship. Also LAV's with railguns make for good anti dropship hunters. The small rail turret is just very very very situation oriented weapon |

It needs to do full damage to vehicles, then it will be worth something. It will make dropship dog-fights actually plausible, make them somewhat effective against tanks, and give LAVs anti-LAV potential (and no worry from the LLAV because it has -50% turret damage). |

The only advantage it has is the knock back, otherwise small missiles are better in every regard. |
