In a thread asking when we can expect new infantry weapons, Wolfy had this to say.
A short statement, yet enough confirmation to start wild speculations.
I'll start.
I'd imagine the Battle Rifle and Rail rifle to come, I also expect to receive a Centaur Dropsuit with Nova lance as standard, a razor blade launcher and a mini nuke launcher (otherwise known as a Mass Driver with AV grenades as ammunition) |

But seriously.....hmmm im thinking theyll show some love to the heavys for sure.only two class specific weapoj types as is for them....maybe a massive version of the laser rifle? Im not sure....

Wolfman mentioned a few months back in IRC that the amarr heavy weapon is some kind of Scrambler weapon that can be used against infantry and vehicles. |

Well I'm picturing the Centaur suit to be classified as a Heavy Suit, with the capabilities to use heavy weapons.
That'd be some love for sure, health of a commando, speed of a scout.
Whats the down side you ask? Massive hitbox and less stealthy than a sentinel. |

Like 1.4 was supposed to be for infantry and 1.5 for vehicles?
I wouldn't be perplexed if it is going to be 1.7. Whoever stills gets exciting about this kind of updates is a fool. |

Heavy Laser, is not completely out of the question. I would like to see it as a Heavy Pulse Laser. I also want to see a Minmatar Assault rifle.
Heavy / light Auto Cannon turrets. would be nice.

The Minmatar Assualt rifle is the Battle Rifle, burst fire as standard as far as I know.
I'm also hoping that the Minmatar AV weapon is a Flak Cannon. |
