I was thinking on some ideas about some changes for MLT gear, MLT gear is meant to give new players a a chance to try out some gear with out skilling into them, all MLT gear have higher fitting requirements and some even have inferior stats compared to their STD variants. Now the reason MLTs have higher fitting requirements is because our suit are making up for the lack of training for said gear, my idea is, "What if MLT gear wasn't effected by our skill lvls?"
What do you guys think?
I've got some more ideas about MLT changes, but I'm still trying to straighten them out. |

I've got some more ideas about MLT changes, but I'm still trying to straighten them out. So you want to nerf something that is already pre-nerfed? Like the clip is only 75% of basic non-MLT and stats are lower... Let me guess: people kill you on the cheap with it? Because skills apply? You want to hit people in their MLT BPOs? When will you be happy with the nerf? Will you go against STD next? They're dirt cheap and will kill you the same.
Actually there are several MLT gear that doesn't have reduced stats outside of higher fitting drain, and no, I'm not basing this off of a negative experience I've had recently, they idea came to me after I realized that I still use a lot of MLT modules for a person at ADV level. I started wondering why I did this and it hit me, because there isn't anything much of a pull to switch from MLT, it's dirt cheap, why would you want to stop using it. Now MLT gear says, that it's cheaply made gear so it's performance lower and that it ignores the user lack of skill by having the suit do all the work, which is why I thought it would make sense if MLT gear wasn't affected by my skills.
It's not that big of an adjustment, as for MLT BPOs, I think the same logic would be applied, it is MLT after all, I'm assuming you don't like this idea. |
